    Probably a POC. One of these days, such an attack will take down many many doze boxen. It will be a real wakeup call for many people. Those that have been paying attention are already off or weaning themselves off of the MS addiction.

    Those that have not been paying attention or are buying the MS FUD are taking a huge risk.

    Having the right only exists (by definition) because you are sentient. You also have the right to not reproduce.

    Other species (except whales and dolphins) do not have that choice.

    To say that you have no fundamental right to reproduce is to say you are nothing but meat, an animal that is entirely driven by instinct and pheromones.

    The right to reproduce is given to you *because* you exist and that is how genes operate and *persist* over time.

    The fact that you are sentient gives you *choice*.

    The only way your fundamental right to reproduce can be taken away from you is via genetic accident.

    Same difference almost. Google groups is Usenet, at least in terms of the past information, though the usability is different.

    Google Groups is your friend.

    You will find (with some effort) information about problems, products, programs, procedures, etc.

    You can waste lots of time searching the web.

    That is due to bullshit websites that have lots of keywords but no information.

    MS likes to support those sites that frustrate Linux newbies.

    BS. MS is a convicted monopolist, but the bush admministration tolerates MS. There was *NO* penalty. NADA.

    Where have you been? Did you recently figure out how to connect to the net?

    If not, then don't spread misinformation. There is no comparison between MS and Standard Oil in terms of penalty, because MS received no penalty!

    The article reads funny to me. Why would you migrate SAP from Unix to Linux if it was already working? SAP is a monster, and if it's not broke, don't fix it.

    Only if the Corp of Engineers gives up trying to control the Mississipi River.

    If they don't let the siltation process occur, 30-40 miles inland could turn into just another 30-40 years of bought time before that buffer erodes away.

    Yes, the city should be rebuilt in a better location, but only if that location is long term sustainable.

    And that is why there is now a mandatory evacuation. With the levees failing (2 major breaks already), the city is being flooded even worse than the video you may have already seen. With no power, and no hope of fixing the levees soon, there is no choice but to force everyone out.

    Can New Orleans be fixed up sufficiently by 2006-02-28?

    You forgot that the 'soil' is constantly sinking. It is just silt from the Mississipi River that must be replenished. The levees prevent that re-silting which could maintain the elevation. New Orleans will eventually either disappear or have to be maintained in a different manner.

    In the long run, it probably would be best to abandon the city entirely, but that won't happen, so, all the taxpayers in the U.S. will have to pay for it even if they don't live there.
