I know your just trolling, but seriously. You admit Zelda, and Raving Rabbits are good. But you are giving up on the whole system because the rest of the launch titles are crap.. Well guess what, most launch titles for any system are crap because developers haven't had time to work with it yet. Hell developers were just given the Online API specs this month.
I admit Nintendo did mess up on one bit, they let a massive amount crappy third party titles get licences for release upon launch. It does kinda make it look crap, but thats just a buisness move. Ultimatly while the ratio is bad, its got the more good launch titles as any other launch in history. BTW check out Madden and Super Swing Golf.
Even if they are only selling them on weekends. How is that an indication that they are selling a lot. They've sold several million already and still selling at as fast as a pace as pre-christmas.
Surprisingly the ebay prices are starting to drop. A half second look showed $289 plus $25 on buy it now, and that doesn't get socked with a 7% tax. So your talking about $50 bucks markup.
I think this would be a lot better if the simple players were controlled from just a few humans view overhead map controls like an RTS. Let the AI take care of the small details and let a human take care of the strategy. Would be a lot better than the CONSTANTLY dying that would occur in FPS mode.
Either way I agree $10 a day or close to $15 per workday is a bit MUCH. But not unusual for someone who has the money to spend, plenty of $5+ drinks available.
True, but the point is MS as a company has to walk a fine line. If from the beginning people didn't pirate windows, home computer use of windows would have been MUCH less. These people would then have not demanded windows for their work computers. In effect their buisness is very much built upon home pirating use. Now on the other hand if this had been the case, MS would have significantly dropped the price by now, either way, the computer software world would be a totally different beast, more akin to the hardware world, where price competition is strong.
What he means is that there are a LOT of people who are using pirated versions of Windows who would switch to something free if they couldn't pirate windows anymore. There is a huge percent of the population of the world who simply can NOT pay $200+ for an OS for their personal computers. Most of China for example, and plenty of places in the US as well. Nowadays you can get a computer for $400 or so from Dell with Windows installed, but in the past when building your own computer was cheaper, there were a lot of people who the $200 difference in adding an OS would have simply opted to have no computer at all.
Note!!! H&R block people are NOT accountants!! Sure they have accountants for dealing with buisnesses. But the people who the average joe tax return at H&R block are not accountants and are just trained to fill out the same form you would if you went to their online website...
In Florida the CPA association filed a advertising complaint against H&R block because several of their commercials implied their people were better than accountants "We'll catch the refunds that your accountant missed" and crap.
Oh yea, I definately don't use turbotax software. But the online turbotax is really one of the best out there. Used it for the last few years. Lucky for me my wife got a job at a CPA firm last year, with a nice perk of free taxes... Hmm her boss gets to know EXACTLY how much she is underpaid..:)
Yep because that gas can in your shed is all too safe. Wouldn't store either IN the house. But time and time again its been demonstrated that hydrogen is safer than gas.
Its not uncommon really. Sometimes a sniper has a very good protective spot and you can't get to the spot itself without fighting through other enemies.
Obviously what I mean is have the option of using pen and paper versus a computer to produce a ballot.
Having computers count ballots isn't really all that bad, in Tallahassee you fill out a bubblesheet then place it into a scanner, if the scanner isn't 100% sure how you voted, it spits it back out otherwise it counts and stores it. Incase of a recount the scan sheets are there. During the recount in 2000 we were the only county to have ZERO change in the final tally of the hand counted versus the machine counted ballots.
Realistically its not about the "artist", but it is about the music labels. They are an association who's prime customer is the music labels. If the music labels don't think this is a good idea the RIAA will backtrack... But it will be interesting to see how this plays out.. If it gets enough attention you might even see some Rap heavy labels pulling out of the RIAA.
Depends upon where your flying into really. If your airline regularly flies into dangerous terrorist areas, I think your customers are going to be quite happy about such an offering. If your offering the option for a flight from New York to Detroit, you will have a different reception. Anyways as long as this technology is available the market will demand it where necessary.
So what... I don't think anyone out there but a few neophytes truly object to computer assisted voting. BUT it needs to be done right, and potentially needs to always be optional.

The discussion was "WHAT IF there was no piracy, or it was impossible to make free copies of Windows"
In such a case I was guessing that you would see more competition and a lowering of prices similar to the hardware world.
Na, property gets reaccessed to taxes occasionally. They would be paying $300 just in taxes if that was the case.
House? Less than $300 a month?

Something like "a 1/4 mile" is much better in my opinion.

HEHE, cept if you have kids, you now get $1000 bucks per kid back even if you didn't pay that $1000 in. Getting $2k back more than I paid this year :)
:)
Yea I really am that poor..

gas=gasoline or petrol obviously..

Dude, you should link stuff like that and no post directly.. I really didn't want to see your ugly whale of a wife..
