You have to want to die if you want a PSU to kill you. (i.e. plug it in and lick the capacitors. But if you want to do that, go ahead. Save the oxygen for other people :)
BTW, If you're chaning the fan or something, unplug the PSU from the wall, turn on the computer, THEN take the PSU out. That should discharge the caps. Also, when working with high voltage, keep one hand behind your back. If you can only touch things with one hand, current can't go through your heart. Agreed. UT2004 is a year of tweaking of an already great game (UT2004). So now we have a game that's as good as the original UT in gameplay, and as good as UT2003 in looks and new technology. Not that I didn't love UT2003, but hey. It's even better now!

    Yay!

So, yes, I like games (actually only UT. That's all I play); and no,I don't do windows. Sorry :)

I'm not a hardcore gamer. I just like blowing people away in UT. Good stress relief (and good test of my speaker system :)

Speaking of which, I hope the UT2004 people put the proper OpenAL in this time. If not, I'll have to patch it again.

The PDF and OpenGL based graphics rendering in Mac OS X gives an overall feel of speed, powerful, and stability that makes Windows and Linux feel like they're made of paper mache in comparison.

I always thought that Tk/Motif apps were the most stable. The uglier the UI, the more stable the app IMO. That said, Gnome2 looks fine to me. I couldn't think of anything I'd want improved (well, how about not doing 20 round-trips to open a menu. That would be nice.)
