    MPlayer can parse WMV, and there are WMV7 and WMV8 decoders in LAVC. If you want to use WMV, use WMV7 (4cc WMV1) for best results.

    I admit it would prolly be considered poor form, but it would be nice if I could replace my four limbs with prosthetics, then they wouldn't be so pisspoor excuses for arms and legs and wouldn't be so sore so often, my legs especially.     Yeah, and they used vaporware to kill Digital Research too. >. Sick, sick, sick. Especially considering that ripping off DR was how they got onto PCs in the first place... and ripping off DR was how they stayed there (killing off GEM with vaporware promises of Windows; killing off DR DOS with Windows 95).

    I think Gates had it in for Kildall, personally.

    I've written a few Commodore emulators myself (my VIC-20 emulator sucks as it can barely run BASIC in text mode, but it does run).

    I actually believe that the word for "Netherlands" in Japanese is "Oranda", which would be some sort of a borrowing of "Holland". So it's not just us American lamers that fail to make the distinction.

    People won't switch to Linux because they want support for feature "foo", people won't develop Linux support for feature "foo" because people won't switch to Linux.

    Someone has to break the cycle, and unfortunately, I am not a sufficiently capable programmer to do so myself.
