    I've found that Trillian will crash 100% of the time if you send an a Trillian user an embeded image from win32 GAIM. (The Insert IM Image button next to the smilies button.)

    It sends:
    <IMG SRC="file://C:\96-16.jpg" ID="1" DATASIZE="239358">

    I'm really not sure how this is supposed to work in the first place since it references a local file.

    Why is slashcode removing my img html instead of just escaping the less than and greater than characters when submitting a post as plain text? But if I escape the first less than myself the ampersand in that entity is left along but the greater than at the end of the image element is escaped?

    Win32Pad does it for me.

    You chose WIN or UNIX line ending, tab size, auto indent, etc.

    Win32Pad is a feature filled text editor that is written with a programmer in mind. Its main purpose is to provide enough functionality that is missing from notepad without sacrificing file size and performance.

    Freeware, not Free Software though. :(

    I'm sure others may have commented on this, but WHY dear god create another license, or two in this case? Netscape did this with Mozilla and is still looking for four hackers so that the codebase can be complete relicensed using an NPL/GPL/LGPL "triple license".

    If you are running Q3A under Win2k, make sure you have r_ext_texture_compress and r_overbrightbits turned off.

    Q3A runs fine on my TNT (stb velocity 4400) in Win2k. I plan to buy a GeForce2 MX soon.

    subject. Hit submit again. Oh my! My comment was posted as an Anonymous
    Coward because I did not notice that IE had clearned my password when I
    hit Back. In other words, how about checking if a Nick was entered but
    not a password, just like it checks to see if a subject is missing, it
    should indicate a problem, not just post my comment as an AC because I
    didn't noticed IE cleared my password. :(
