"I'd pay $20 a share for a stake. Uhh, I mean $22. No, wait, make that $24. Did I say $24? Darn, I meant $26. No, I take that back, what I really meant was..."
There's a job waiting for you at SCO with steadfastness like that.
1. A small phone with solid service in NYC 2. The ability to sync my contacts from MS Outlook with my phone. 3. Minimal ability to display calendar events.
Right now the Motorolla Mx200 looks like a good match, though it's only listed as AT&T, and that may miss my first, and most important, requirement.
Not that the internet is always right... but the cost/speed/24-7 accessibility/accuracy balance can't be beat. This morning I needed to find out the name of the landlord of the house at a given property because my girlfriend couldn't get in touch with her sister and was worried that something had happened.
Within about 5 minutes I had the landlord's name, her phone number, and if I'd have been willing to pay more, I could've gotten more info on the property. While some might look at this as scary, it's an incredibly powerful way to access public information that previously would've required a plunge into warehouses of public records.
The internet is a tremendous tool. Like any tool, it can be abused... but the give/get ratio can't be beat.
Got a call from a guy that's called me every 3-4 months last week.
Me: "I'm still pretty happy in my current job" Him: "Well, we're looking for C# developers, but we'll interview people with java talent to fill those roles." Me: "We're looking for Java talent as well, so if I knew good people, I think we'd take them." Him: "Really?!? What's the hiring manager's name?" Me: "I'm pretty sure he wouldn't want that information given out." Him: "Fine... **click**"
Chances are if they're close enough to pick up the signal from the couch, they're already in my apartment, and can get a lot more information about me than which Sears I shop at.
The MPAA and the RIAA deserve to be allowed into schools... but they should be part of the history class. While I feel strongly that watching a movie in a theatre is still a great experience... the RIAA needs to face it. They're a dying organization unless they learn to adapt without suing everyone and their brother in the process.
Just when I was starting to get some good footage on the nanny-cam!
Why not read this article instead. Though obviously Microsoft could do a 180 and change their mind, so far they've supported the Mono project.
I didn't realize Mario and Luigi were coming to the XBOX ... and who's the guy on the right?

Sounds like the same advice you'd give someone having an affair...
It amazes me that the company has changed their policy going forward, yet their website still lists their service as offering unlimited MP3s.
1. Adobe Photoshop - Expensive, but worth it
2. WinAMP 2.91
3. WS_FTP LE
4. Microsoft Office
5. SecureCRT
6. UltraEdit
7. Google Toolbar 2.0
8. WinRAR
9. ACDSee
10. Yahoo! Messenger
Here's an example of precedent, only it was with kiddie pr0n ... not MP3s.

I don't expect to hear from him in 3-4 months.
That way you can aimlessly walk around massive world, interracting with next-to-nothing, and raising your experience level just by staying logged in.
Between him, and her baby
My girlfriend would be a big fan of that ...
Looks like it's off to Russia we go...
