  1. Put them in a drawer on What To Do With All of My Gadget Chargers? · · Score: 1

    I run my charger cords into a drawer (through the back), and keep all the ugly cellphones, gameboy, USB devices and cable mess inside of the drawer. It keeps the counters and tabletops clean looking.

  6. 100% score on IE8 on Acid3 Test Released · · Score: 4, Funny

    I got a 100% score rendering Acid3 on IE8! All I had to do was add the following line to the top of the page!

    <meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" content="IE=8" />

    Once that meta tag is there, all web pages look just as they're supposed to! I'm so glad Microsoft finally fixed this whole compatibility fiasco.

    Now someone will just have to invent a device which plugs in to an electrical outlet, which *lifts* the weight. That will eliminate the need for someone to do this manually. I'm checking the patent office now for prior inventions. Brilliant.

    I use the old clickity IBM model M keyboards, and I just pop off all the key caps and wash them in a garment bag with the rest of the laundry. Nice, white and beautiful when they come out. I've also done this with MS Natural keyboards. Works like a charm. Make sure to lay the keys upside down to dry.

    I actually did try this... And it lasted for about 2 days before the boss called about an e-mail that he sent. Apparently, a high-priority Fwd: message to a certain financial institution didn't go through for 2 days. Needless to say, blocking .gif images was not a good idea in my particular case. We did see the vast majority of SPAM never even get through to the filters though, which was nice while it lasted.
