Watch episode three, and shut it off at the end immediately after Palpatine tells Anakin/Vader what happened to Amidala. Do NOT wait to hear Anakin's response before shutting it off.
Specifically, that the mass extinction of the dinosaurs had relatively little impact on mammals and that the steps in mammals' evolution happened well before and long after the dinosaurs' death.
Do they think that those steps ever could have taken place if the dinosaurs were still around?
Because the malaria-resistant mosquitoes will survive and reproduce more than the non-resistant ones. Eventually all the mosquitoes will be resistant to malaria.
The turtle isn't sitting on anything else. It's swimming through space. And don't forget the four elephants on its back whose backs the world is sitting on.
Since when is this about money? This is about control. They could make plenty of money if they abandoned all DRM... for a while at least. Until all the new bands started going the indy route and refused to sign on with the big labels entirely.
I stand corrected
Actually, more women than men use the internet.

Do we know who it was that snuck the language into that bill at the last minute that allowed the Government to require these cards?
It's DeCSS all over again.
...just by reading the headline.
Dude. You're, like, my hero.
Someone tagged this tunneltonowhere.
Is that from the point of view of Russians or Alaskans?
And how are you so certain that they didn't do this during spring break?
Hooray for geeks with way too much time on their hands.
Are they absolutely certain that the guy's name actually is Richard and he didn't just make up the name to throw MS off the scent?
Right. Because not having any resistance when the saber hits something is way less realistic than controlling it via a gamepad.

Then we will need the four NEW laws of robotics (from the Azimovian book 'Caliban')
1. A robot may not injure a human.
2. A robot must cooperate with a human except where such cooperation conflicts with the first law.
3. A robot must protect its own existence except where such protection conflicts with the first law.
4. A robot may do whatever it wishes, so long as it does not conflict with the first, second or third laws.
Shouldn't that be
51% against
49% George Bush
result: Bush wins.
Not a MMORPG?
The point is that the new bands are going to be doing that anyway. Regardless of whether the labels drop DRM or not.

There is more in the article than just the drop-down quote.
I'm talking about the hurricane-force spin.
Can this guy possibly spew any MORE bullshit?
I feel insulted that he thinks we're this stupid.
