The problem here is the reaction of her superiors on the library board who apparently believed she should have given the police whatever they wanted without question.
...but I don't know about PDFs. Direct dead-tree to electronic conversion isn't all that great an idea for any kind of reference book, especially this kind. It would be better if there were some kind of specialized interface where you could look up specific rules at a glance. Drop-down menus with subcategories to bring up any information you want.
One thing I didn't like about Dragon's Lair was that if you died a couple times at the same place, the game would automatically bypass that scene. I understand that it was done that way because the designers knew that people would be standing around watching and they wanted people to be able to see as much of the game as possible, but they should have put in some way to turn that feature off.
"For the first time, flight crews of Airbus planes will be instructed and trained to rely on autopilots in most cases to escape an impending crash with another airborne aircraft or a building."
Oh well, lets just give up then. That's what inventors and scientists have always done, and thats how we got the technology-rich culture we have today.
My problem with recent Microsoft operating systems has nothing to do with how well they run. I have to admit that they have been progresively better about that. My problem is how intrusive they are. How much control do I have over what my computer (my property that I paid for with my money) will and won't do.
Yes, graphics, gameplay and cinematics are all important, but out of the three, gameplay is the one that can't be sacrificed if you want the game to still be good.

No, that's rule 5.
Rule 4 is ???
For some reason, as I was reading this, I kept thinking that they were talking about Heart of Darkness
The last console that I ever owned was a Sega Genesis and I am planning on buying a Wii.
This case is still going on?
I thought SCO lost a long time ago.
Hey, show me a website with the incredible range of obscure shit that ebay has with all fixed prices and I'm there.
... unless the item has a 'Buy It Now' button.
"Good news everyone! Straight from a one-eyed alien's mouth"
What one-eyed alien? I don't remember any one-eyed alien on Futurama.
A one-eyed mutant maybe, but no alien.

Thank you very fucking much. That brought my high from seeing this news down pretty damn quick.
If the RIAA were to put out something like this, it would be (rightly) referred to as propaganda.
You mean kind of like that inane 'Matrix' themed cartoon that the RIAA put out a couple years ago?

It's so secure that even the owner of the computer can't control it.

I have to wonder how Intel is going to rationalize it when people STILL choose AMD over Intel.
Nooo.... it's because we don't live in 5 dimensional space that a 5D rubic's cube sounds impossible.
Sure, but the stickers would all be tesseracts.
We fear change

I thought they mean 'better version' as in 'The Phantom Edit'
Download and install the Insiminator mod. You can make many changes to how the game works including turning off the aging.
Of course there is a difference.
A war, declared or otherwise, is far worse.
