My computer has three fans, i installed some extra since the one fan on the power supply died and my computer started to become unstable. I started to get Compile errors, i destroyed half of my Memory or so memtest86 told me. machine temperature got over 50 degrees in the box, the cpu was at 70 degrees celsius.
I bought two extra fans and a new power supply the machine is running like a charm ever since:)
You wont see three fans die at once, better save then sorry.
My excuse, you are right ofcourse, but i wasnt at home behind my gentoo box, instead i was at work behind a redhat box and normaly i dont emerge things that dont exist so i had to make this one up:)
Sun's NFS (Network File System, a lame and usually insecure way to share files).
I never used Sun's NFS, but i was planning in the near future, so what way to share file's nice and secure in a unix network ? like if you want to mount homedirs and such.
So since i am part and even this message is part of its computations it doesnt really matter what i do, maybe i should buy a gun and kill some people..
Damn people who say crap like this should be shot, cause they only point out how non important our lives really are.
Hope these words get used correct in the computation and that they are not some syntax errors.
used slackware for about 4 years and i was a gentoo lover within seconds:)
But this doesnt mean i wouldnt use Slack if i need a system up and running fast, cause gentoo is still a slow bastard with all the nice compile time needed...
I rather have a usable program with visual bugs then with bugs i cant see and cant understand and one that keeps me wondering whats going on.
Mozilla 0.9.9 which i am still running, hasnt crashed on me yet, and i am using it all the time. (maybe cause i didnt use a precompiled bin, cause i heard of some people who had loads of crashes just not me:))
And security bugs are even worse, although Mozilla had its security bugs like any program:)
I dont want Linux to be used by average joe, now i can tell everyone that i boycot MS and that i cannot help them with there computer problem. Now if average joe would be running Linux or something like that then i would be needed helping out Neighbours, Familie and Friends every week, bah! you selfish person!
Now please take your good SUN Solaris and open it up and stuf it into the Linux Community, why do you need an OS when you sell hardware, ditch the OS and sell Hardware.
I know this doesnt make any good sence, but never the less we need to work together to make a better world =P
Finaly, hiegene is really bad for us Humans cause it makes us less resistant against all kind of bacteria, we should be open for them, learn too know them and find a way to kill them, but then we first need to be infected by them, doh. So keep those keyboards dirty if ye art wise...

In my company they just take the whole machine, but since we dont have secret stuff ( we are a Public News Broadcasting Company ) it doesnt matter to much and ensurance will pay up eventualy. If they dont take the machine the Employers will take the Memory or the Harddisks, damn they even take the UTP cable's, else they hook up own modems to download pr0n files from phone only site's.
Ex-Employe's of the IT department get Lost and take there Laptops with and you never find there address again.
I just take the old not anymore going to be used old PC hardware to build Linux Boxes =)
I cant see how i being in Europe can have problems with SSSCA and how i cant use Linux no more, who cares for those couple of Americans, the world is bigger, go figure...
But its the Holywood Movie Industry shooting them selves in the foot yeah;)
Cause she knows i am on IRC a lot, so now she will think i am a hacker! which i am ofcourse i hack some c every day, but never the less this could set my reputation in a wrong perspective, lets DDoS CNN again =D

My workstation install is under the 200MB, its just depending on what you install.

You can install a base system with X under 40MB add some window manager and some apps and yoru far under the few hundred meg.
