    I for one much prefer good-ole printf and friends to std::iostream with its overloaded operators and finicky formatting manipulators. But in order to make such choices, you do have to learn the newfangled stuff to a certain level, in order to properly assess it.

    Net neutrality provides justification for massive policing of the internet, because it calls for equal treatment of *lawful* content. By definition that means filtering for unlawful content. Wait until we find out what becomes designated as unlawful. The copyright crowd and authoritarians are gonna love it. Then we all get to apply for internet licenses... whee!

    Doubtful there's a driver problem with BTLE since there should be no new drivers required if the device is BT conformant (since the BT spec defines the HCI and that is well-supported by all major OS'es). More likely it's BTLE firmware for the chip that's under development.
