    This Asus MEMO Pad 7 is essentially the late 2014 Nexus - just not branded as such..

    I got one for $150 at Best Buy and have been very satisfied aside from my normal android complaint of the home/back buttons taking up a whole strip of the interface space at the bottom of the scren.

    Well, this is the first of the next gen consoles to make me sit up and actually wonder when it was being released. Any idea when it will actually be out?

    I could imagine some pretty sweet rhythm games with two controllers.

    I only dread the WarioWare that comes out for this. That game would probably result in countless broken controllers from trying to flip it or spin it or whatever.

    The farmers don't even get the flak, though. The bots that do the farming for them aren't attended until they need to be navigated back to sell things off. I know I love arguing with bots as much as the next person, but perhaps it is not so effective to even gripe at them.

    From just reading the PDF I had been under the impression that you needed the supporting documentation only if you didn't have the physical drive/serial number.

    Have you even considered what other formats these headlines end up in?

    I saw the story because my RSS reader popped the headline up for me. There are also a lot of news aggregator sites that have even less space than a single column to work with. Do the Slashdot editors still have a 'whole page' to work with? How big is a 'whole page' on the interweb?

    Also, I think if you ever complained to a legitimate news source(which I don't consider /. to be), they'd probably have a good laugh before tossing your letter in the mail or dropping your e-mail address in the spam filter.

    Good points, but I'm going to save my mod points due to the boo hooing about being an elite oldschool slashdot user. Waaah, Waah, I have such a low user number that I'm superior to everybody else.

    I'm sure we will find out that some well meaning individual at Lycos added torrent tracking sites to their DoS list because, hey, if spamming is bad, then pirating is worse, right?

    Left my cell phone in my pants about 8 months ago and sent it through an entire wash cycle and half a dry cycle before I realized it was missing and was probably what was clunking in the drier.

    I took it out, let it dry for about 4 days and it finally turned on again with just a little problem with the 9 key. To this day I still have to press the 9 a little harder to make it register, but it did survive a double rinse, the detergent, and a dry cycle.
