    I disagree, using that same logic why do Firefox and Opera exist as browsers since MS provides IE for free? Because The other choices are better in many peoples opinions. I would not use a MS product for AV because I don't trust them to put out updates in a timely fashion.

    Yeah, but if you live in an area with bad reception and February 2009 rolls around, your picture is going to be crap even with a converter. If you don't get a decent signal for digital, it's going to be like watching "Lego TV" with all the blocks on the screen.

    There is no way the grid can handle so many cars being plugged in to recharge at night. You may feel nice and fuzzy warm about getting an electric vehicle, but then, you get a whoop-ass dose of reality when you find out, low and behold, your electric provider uses COAL FIRED plants to create this invisible power. What is the dirtiest method of power?????
    But you tree huggers just go bury your head in the sand and don't think about the logistics.
