Yeah - it's really fucking shocking how the Executive branch has amassed wide sweeping powers (with no oversight, secret laws, etc etc) over the last 6 years.
The elder generation tells me that America has always had a pendulum effect in these types of things - we sway way the fuck too far at first, and then slowly crank it back to the middle.
It would never come to that. People would run for office LONG before a situation escalated to military force.
If that didn't produce the desired change, various states would separate from the Union.
If that didn't produce the desired change (inconceivable) - let's indulge this crazy notion - you really think our army is going to shoot at AMERICAN CIVILIANS in large numbers?
No fucking way.
I thought maybe they had something good here, but I installed it (on my work pc) and I can honestly say going in I had an open mind and after using it I've decided it sucks.
It forced me to turn on security I didn't want, it has bugs, its interface is clumsy, it didn't read the auto-config script properly, why is there so much I hate with it so quickly? *sigh*
Which report from the Forrester Group says this? The article only mentions "a report" and "the report". I looked on the Forrester Grop website and wasn't able to turn up any reports about brand identity since 2004.
So this is just total garbage. I want to see the report.
Also, the outcome of Apple Intel machines should be interesting - one place for OS X, Windows, and Linux to all run at the same time.
Why would anyone want to do that? It comes with OSX. If you want to hack it, hack at Darwin....And you'd want XP/Vista why? Games? My XBox 360 is on a huge LCD HDTV and a boomin' sound system.
Microsoft will lose its monopoly soon.
I just got an XBox 360, and soon after commented to my brother, "I'll never play a game on my PC again!". Too many reasons to list.
So, to surf the web, read e-mail, play iTunes... that black iMac G5 is looking nice! Plus it's got an LCD screen. Ciao windows...:P
Ahh, yes - thanks for the screenshot! It looks similar to the new (soon to be released) Hotmail interface. Looks like there's going to be some good competition bewtween the main webmail competitors..
Didn't Yahoo! have webmail first?

Did I miss something? Yahoo! had webmail for like a decade, then GMail put it to shame, then Yahoo!... well did they really update their interface much? It looks and works the same to me.
Careful - on such a high horse you could easily fall and break your neck.
Honestly, 20mpg vs 25mpg - I sincerely hope you were being sarcastic.
I agree. Plus, modern science has proven that God did kind of take a rib from Adam. The Y chromosome could be viewed as missing a rib.
We're quite ahead of the game at this point. I actually believe science provides evidence of God's existence.

It's brilliant - I'd expect God to be able to pull it off.

Excuse me, yes it fucking does cache data.
Who the fuck are you anyway?

My iPod does this. It has a 20GB disk and 32MB ram (or is it 64MB?). Anyway, not new.

I agree with that sentiment, it's totally outdated and leftover from the 1950's.
And why is it always products? "Buy Buy Buy Want Want Want" *sigh*
No, more likely it's due to the 287,000 Sony laptop batteries Fujitsu just recalled today. Fujitsu Adds To Sony Recall Woes
I don't understand the uproar. Isn't this just an ISP-wide 404 page?
When you dial a non-existant telephone number you get an ear piercing tone, you have to hang up, and start all over again.
Maybe it's all just a matter of personal preference?
It wasn't just for "games", dude.
Clockspeed also affected hardware - I remember that in order to format early hard drives on an 8088 (XT) you had to drop back down to 4.7 MHz.
Why did you post that??
Disclaimer: I'm not an Apple user - haven't really used OSX much except for at the Apple store.

What about Linux? You guys can put it on an iPod, what about the iMac?
I'll hire anyone as long as they're qualified.
I will say one thing though, an american degree is still highly valuable - regardless of your skin color.

So, um, yeah - I'd just stick with the OSX.
