Strictly is necessary depending on the contexts of "strictly necessary" as it does indeed modify rather than only reinforce necessary.
An example would be that safety measures are not strictly necessary for a functional nuclear reactor but anyone building a reactor would put such measures in the necessary category.
The problem with solar is the efficiency of conversion verses the the cost of production and maintenance.
While I think solar will eventually be the energy production method of choice it is still a poor choice for mass production. You have to take in the cost of making the panels/collectors, the cost to maintain an the waste generated during production of the panels and disposal once the panels reach the end of their lives.
Right now I think wind energy is the far better choice for mass production and while many find it distasteful and have an outright unreasoning dislike and fear of nuclear energy it is still the best option for backbone energy production when power plants are placed by recycling breeder reactors.
This isn't pork. Pork is spending which is put in on a bill that is not related to the law the bill is proposing.
This spending has nothing to do with any bill. In fact the congressional orders given specifically forbade this spending so it isn't pork at all. Just corruption/incompetence both of which at a high enough level should be punishable by the death penalty as treason against the state.
Neither. But change "idiots" to "corrupt jerks" and change "jerks" to a more appropriate explicative and the statement would be true for both brining in off the street and creating new from good sane people.
No. The problem with estimating the likelihood of life and planetary formation as we have only seen a single example and not all that well.
It could be that in normal planet formation a planet our size almost always occurs at about this range with similar planets around it and that a large strike like one that formed the moon is a common byproduct of that formation. In fact if you are looking at the probabilities based on examples alone you could surmise this to be extremely likely.
"Many fringe energy sources have become cost competitive with geological oil since it more than quadrupled in price. What will be interesting is how the oil giants respond to this competition."
He may mean Open Source rather than Free Software.
In open source it is at least possible to look at what the code you are using is actually doing. While it may not be practical for most, the possibility is still there so that if a major problem is found someone can go back and find the culprit.
They can't toss them into the recycling container. They are not standard plastic, and have to be sent back to the manufacturer to theoretically be recycled.

With number one it is worse than homicide because it hurts big business and without that support American citizens would die. Everyone knows food comes from Walmart!
It is also worse with number two because we all know terrorists kill many people and even the slightest of problems here in the states make them climax in evil pleasure and cause a hundred kittens to die. Don't you like kittens?!
Obviously it is also worse with reason three as the gateway effect of small crimes is well known, and those crimes also support terrorism leading into number two. We really should shoot these awful people on sight; it is a burden of civilization that we have to give them a fair trail before they are found guilty!
*Big businesses and industries are those 1% who control almost half of the US's wealth. These fine people and interests also help pay for our politicians and insure that we get the best laws and government their money can buy. **It is well known that the money goes there, only a terrorist would say or consider otherwise. ***Also well known and proven.
Circumstance matters. Copyright laws are about who has the Right to produce copies, and in case you haven't read or bothered to look up any of the US laws the copyright holder does not have exclusive rights in all cases.
Furthermore, blocking P2P isn't just used for copyrighted material. It is also used for distributing legal software and files and those users are also getting punished.
Though the reality of it has nothing to do with punishment. It has more to do with the fact that the companies feel they can get away with it for this segment of their user base. They would prefer to throttle down everyone unless an exorbitant fee is paid, but still be able to advertise their fast rates.

The gamer need not be dead for this.
Just dip the hands in some liquid nitrogen no need to pry just smash

So... How many years have you been without internet sir?
Seriously usenet as the big "warez" clearing house?
Seriously?
You might wanna take a look around. Things have changed since the 90's.
I only played the demo. Thus I lost less than 4 years.

How easy for the **AA's to stretch this win to make it P2P itself to be the crime?
The world is already locked. The nasty people want to turn the screws to get more money.

The same way they always respond--Hulk Smash!
Not necessarily. Oohhh Shiny sells far more copies thus making it a better game.
It can't even print itself as it still requires non-printed parts.

Thank you employee of Flexdisk or what ever company you are speaking for.
John the Baptist or are you talking about Andrew?
The problem with settling is that it puts a bad mark on someone's record without them ever being proven guilty.
It still tarnishes a person's reputation and opens them up to possibly harder prosecution should the RIAA decide they are doing it again.
In American political reasoning it is worse.

Possible Problem: Does he own the 500m that is going to be crossed by the cable?
Wasn't voluntary when I was a kid.
Exactly!
Those calculations prove that just as calculations previously proved that there must be a luminiferous either to transmit light!
Don't worry.
This too will be shown to just be an approximation which doesn't actually reflect how the universe works.
That's all physics is in the end.
copying is stealing. Period.
No. No it isn't.
