That's not how java works. Java has a very small memory footprint by default. This is why running minecraft requires you to run java -Xmx6G minecraft_server.jar so you can use upto 6GB
Selling tools that generate content for Flash player. It's true that now they are an established brand and will likely be able to generate review by modifying the tools to produce HTML5 media, but it will open the field for more competitors to create tools
Eloquently put. I agree with unions that protect people from harassment and collectively bargaining for better wages however there are unions that actively block useless people from being dismissed.
Agreed but in this case and many other related to computer parts it isn't a "misguided notion of brand loyalty" so much as an awareness of which brands are able to consistently produce quality goods vs brands that produce acceptable goods.
I wouldn't ever consider an HP machine and it isn't because I don't like the brand. It's because they die within months. Sony on the other hand is a kniving cunt but still manages to produce consistently acceptable hardware.
This sounds plausible, more specifically the school had backups made and restored the machine/files using a backup. Especially likely because the school would notice their software is not installed so they would have simply pressed re-image, and whatever software they were using re-imaged with the "last known working copy"
Read the fucking summary, they purchased multiples when the confirm was not received. Therefor they now have more dead IPO than they had wanted because a system failed to produce the appropriate response.
>And, it's clever enough to be completely not-running-at-all unless activated, so the performance hit when the phone is not lost is exactly zero.
So if I have data sync turned off then how does it respond to my lost device notification if it's from the internet. An SMS receiver could handle a text messages that are notifying it that it's lost but if data-sync is off depending on the phone you don't get push notifications.
This is the truth. Here in Canada (well Quebec), there was a court battle where a Linux based company sued and won a case against the municipal government for not accepting or considering their contract offer in accordance with the legislation of that area. The city felt it would just be easiest to go with MS and not ever consider the alternatives.
They should build them in Nunavut.A couple of months are only daytime and it's cold enough that you'd be more likely to pay for heating to keep the machines within their optimum temperature.
To the best of my recolection; an app is required. Google does provide an app to paid Google Apps customers but they do not bundle one with the device. PlanB on the android market is a good choice as it will phone home as soon as you install it (from the web). Additionally some vendors have added the ability to create an account based on your device serial number that will persist even through a device wipe in finding said device. At the very least this is how ASUS does it.
Honestly I find it amusing. My carrier (Rogers of Canada) is known for bad service. 3 years ago when I started with them they would proxy all voip communications from my smartphone (I don't know if they billed or just proxied for other reasons). 3 Weeks ago they rolled out a free VOIP service that requires using a computer (some proprietary front end) free to use for their customers (including free long distance and free texting from the computer to any line in Canada).
As it turns out I no-longer think of Rogers as a shit eating dung. I'm impressed with the service and the initiative (all-be-it the UI could use some improvements). I don't think I will be switching providers any time soon simply because this free service of theirs is amazingly decent considering the level of technology dampening they have tried in the past.
Some notes: The service allows me to call using my cell number (as the callerID) and I can switch between voip and my cell phone by dialling *11 on either device (that is during a call I can go from free use voip bill per minute cellphone). When I was looking at switching to a voip home-phone for long distance at the beginning of the school year these where two things I never thought possible. Now they are something I absolutely love.
I'm okay with them cutting open the chicken that lays golden eggs. I mean reading has been decreasing over the past how many years. If they want to actively prevent an initiative to create readers, create their customers then fine. If they want some quick buck why not?
This might make me switch from Fedora to Ubuntu. Red Hat has been sorely lacking when it comes to pushing new technologies. So this interesting little achievement might be the thing that pushes me off of Fedora into that world.
My cell phone is has NFC and it is able to scan one of my credit cards for a decent sized payload. I'm not knowledgeable enough to decrypt the payload so I guess that's probably good.
I'd like to point out that this isn't fair use. Fair use is taking some-else's content and using it with your own in some manor that isn't primarily based on the taken content. While fair use is quite often arbitrarily diminished by major producers this isn't the case here.
Here you have a guy taking a copyrighted work and reproducing it for personal gain with almost no modification.
I think Windows eight will suck for no other reason than it doesn't follow mod2. You only ever purchase the mod2 of windows. 98 sucked 98 2nd edition didn't me/2000 xp/vista/seven there is a shit version before a non-shit version historically speaking. Though some features look nice. Perhaps this new filesystem will be worth it's weight in diamonds.
They don't throttle me. I see too many people blame slow internet on the ISP for throttling when it could be congestion in the last mile, WiFi congestion (too many laptops on the same channel), too much inbound data (copper cables can't handle inbound data quite as nicely AFAIK so if you don't limit your upload speed you kill everything.)
I've lived at six houses with Shaw and have had issues at 1 related to the last mile being weak. Throughout the average day there are 2 hours where I get less than the 15Mb I pay for and it's usually around 14Mb for a single dedicated torrent any time of day (where normal traffic speeds spike to 24Mb).
In addition to that up until June I would boost my speeds by forcing a (inbound) ddos on my own IP address which would make their QOS servers ignore me for about half an hour this would give me 3x what I paid for and maxed out the physical capacity of the modem I used (I haven't been able to get that to work lately:( )

Can you paste chapter 4 for me. I'm somewhat curious what you mean, is there privilege escalation that can occur or what's going on in that chapter?
He said if you are running peoplesoft allow Java to run only on your peopleosoft site. Was that so hard to understand?

The Dodge Caravans can be popped open with little to no effort using a flat head screwdriver.

As already stated, it adds weight and security concerns. It's a lot easier to parse text than it is to store and display a video stream.

It's doubtful. SEARS requires you to apply via their Facebook app. One that can auto scrape data.

Wake me when they add tabs to explorer.
I'd settle for SFTP support in explorer.
