C-11 is set to pass in Canada. It's DCMA and soo much more. It removes the ability to touch DRM for any purpose including that explicitly aloud by law:-(
I don't see how. Google Tweet Deck Both Apple and Google mobile markets show up in the search results. If twitter wasn't such a bitch about their site being crawled they would have updates on Google too. I can actually remember going to Google to use their realtime search because Twitter is such a shit site. But now twitter want's out of the realtime show on Google but they are saying it's unfair that Google has their own real time content providers. There are no "competitors" no companies want to take that realtime space, no companies want to share the data.
Their advertising is their search engine. It's a hand in hand thing. And no cutting it would cause issues similar to Sony and Sony. SCEA doesn't have nearly the same policies as Sony-Ericsson. It's very hard to have a Mission Statement for a whole company when it's really 6 smaller companies.
If you are either of these then why are you riding the subway (that's how I'm reading this post anyway, I'm not american) or taking other public transport then you are likely not either of these. Hence the reason these are places the TSA are being deployed. You start at the lower/middle first once it has become the norm the upper class will agree or pay an extra opt-out fee.
That seems more like problem with Android. Why can't Android act as middleman providing access to the SD card, just like it does to the main memory already?
It's not, the parent comment fails to take into account the fact that you can partition an sdcard. The real limiting factor is the size, and you could install it to the sdcard, but it'd be fucking slow. Latency is very noticeable in a sdcard write.
Also ICS doesn't unmount the sdcard anymore it acts as a media device and allows safe file transfers that is clumsy under underpowered on all operating systems. I found this to be a huge disapointment because it doesn't work well for linux and windows just borks the fucking think (copy paste doesn't even work, think windows 98 built in zip file handles)
OpenJDKs are garbage pure snd simple. (Maybe not harmony) OpenJDK doesn't have anyhot spot nor can it handle Opengl. So useless for enterprise useless for games.
Eh? DynDNS is fucking ripoff for any type of DNS. Or they were two years ago. $50 for basic services or $10 at hover for the same shit. Not a hard choice.
The CRTC will have a fit and use it as even more reason to keep the lecherous US company from stealing Bell's customers. Damn them netflix hooligans with their fairer prices.
This comment is less funny when you realize that Nexus phones are packaged by Google and not the carrier. Google has not ever included CarrierIQ. Though I'm sure they have more than enough tracking in there.
I think this sums up my opinion nicely. You have a criminal trying to be a baddass not considering the consequences. And you have some consequences that instead of hurting anyone actually enable some resolution to issues, as well as bringing new unrelated issues to light. What he did was wrong, but the outcome was far from it.
As someone who regularly programs in Java and is slowly branching out, I haven't used other JVM languages, are their bytecode primarily the same with optimization to the language or is it entirely different byte code all together for another JVM language.
You realize that to be able to trade globally you have to follow guidelines set out by international bodies. Those guidelines include having acceptable determent for intellectual property infringement
Google Talk is similar, none of my friends use it because they are primarily bbm freaks or apple freaks. But Google Talk is just XMPP so it's usable by everything. I'm disappointed that what's app doesn't support XMPP as many of my friends have moved to that for interoperability and their apps are fucking shit.
And fedora, people think that ubuntu is good stuff but they forget that it might not be the best forever (this somewhat assumes the are the best consumer wise currently. Though I've never really liked ubuntu distros).

You can add your own signing keys to SecureBoot on X86 devices (as far as I know). It's just ARM and the low powered series that won't have it.

I saw this on kick starter the day it was first announced. kinda kicking myself now. Also the Bluetooth sniffer :(
They offer a plugin that keeps the cookies set to OPT-OUT
because this is not reddit.
Are you rich? Is your dad a senator?

Bioware (although I mean Edmonton is really where they're at)
When a third party (say an incompetent advertising rat) is smoking near the car while it's fuelling.

Nearfeild communication 1-4 cm transmission devices. Like pay pass.
So funny and yet so far off topic.
You are a disgusting filth and I will loath the existence of people who don't use the right tool for the right job for the rest of my life.

I'm still waiting for the era of Solaris workstation

just one more password
Clearly you don't actually work with real people. Nobody at any IT job I've worked with will go past 2 passwords without giving hours of grief.
