It would be different if Google were removing lesoir.be and other sites from all searches (including google.com searches) by computers with Belgian IP addresses, but are they?
they're not. going to google.com redirects us belgians to google.be, but the direct search link from the OP works fine, so we can get around the problem for now...
well that makes sense, for now.. the current version of firefox wouldn't add anything to the url if it did recognize a valid url (ending in a known.tld), so that behaviour would stop as soon as FF learns about new valid tlds.
might well be the case - ipods usually come without any accessories, and you need to buy the remote, the carrying case, the docking station and even the USB cable separately (each of these for a hefty price)..
that one actually is still usefull if you want to look at the first few screens your pc displays when booting - hit pause and use enter to resume. quite nice with those new systems that boot the OS in a few seconds:)
unfortunately it's no longer the case - firefox comes with an installer. It's still the best lightweight browser for windows IMHO..
should be possible to compile it in such a way that it does not need to be installed tho (so you can run it from your USB key), if on windows it really cannot avoid stuff like registry entries (doubt it but hey, it's windows..) then you could get away with 2.reg files, one to import the keys and one to remove them ? interesting project, I'd give it a try but I no longer need to use many unknown systems these days.
Fit one one floppy _and_ have enough functionality to get work done would be tricky (I'm not saying impossible).. some people just need plugins and the like, which are a pain to reinstall with a new browser.
Now what would be nice is a small but reasonably sized browser that does not need an install, a bit like putty where you download an.exe to the desktop and delete it when you're done.. even a 10 mb file would be acceptable with broadband everywhere these days:)
he could be serving plenty more ads if he was offering more services around these tests, such as let people run db queries on the results..
I know I would have liked an easy way to compare two cards's performances without having to find the right columns in these big tables (should I buy this ? was my last upgrade woth it ?..) or simply filter the results by price range, directx version,..
that would make a shitload of ads-loaded pages served and take ~20 minutes to write in PHP:)
If you had bothered to read the page you'd have seen this :
The virus grabs e-mail addresses from several different locations on a computer, including the Windows address book and Internet cache, and sends e-mails to each one.
millions of infected slashdot drones running IE/outlook must have that address right now:)
I'd love a bluetooth storage watch as well, but imagine what would happen when you take 5 minutes off your desk and leave without properly unmounting the drive ? I'd love the idea of transparently using my watch as a drive when I'm at my desk but being wireless can be a problem here.. It would be a pain to remember about mounting/unmounting it every time you leave the area, specially if you use it as a home directory for knoppix or something like that (if you just use it as a floppy replacement it wouldn't be such an issue I guess). Then there's the power issue, who wants to charge up his watch every day ? It's not such a big problem if the battery lasts a long time but I can already predict that its battery will fail on me when I most need it..
streamripper will let you record a shoutcast stream to your hard drive in mp3 format, and it does cut and rename the files automatically when the stream's info change. It worked great the last time I tried it (been a while tho).
it's not that bad with mozilla, I only have to click accept certificate once whereas I always see that security popup again and again in IE, even after having tried to install it in every possible location..
> BTW, I don't even bother looking at GNOME any more because there's no way to get rid of desktop icons completely & the extra clutter means that I always take that extra couple of miliseconds to find the stuff I need & after a while it is just too annoying.
In Nautilus, go to preferences -> Desktop & Trash, uncheck 'Use Nautilus to draw the desktop'. There, no icons anymore, and a faster startup.
be sure to check your sendmail as well if you're using TLS,possibly stunnel and any other ssl enabled server you run.. (well it does not check ssh). I had patched apache immediately but this tool made me realise I had forgotten about sendmail:)

1. Neither Dell nor HP has a high-end server operating system equivalent to Solaris.
how about HP-UX ? I don't know if it qualifies as 'equivalent to Solaris' but it's definitely a solid OS for big servers.

ok it's quake 1 but I doubt you're gonna see the difference

check out www.micromusic.net if you like 8bit music :)
absolutely. READ THESE BOOKS
it's excellent. I've read them twice already and am finishing off the last book of the sequel now.
try gentoo on your workstation if you have never tried it :) you wont regret

/. does use mod_gzip. and I bet it does save a lot of bandwith, considering all the similar content :]
I actually like your art very much ! :)
then again, I'm not a chick
good work!

if you're interested in random ISN's I'd suggest you try the grsecurity patch from grsecurity.

it has loads of other interesting functions and the random ISN generator seems to work fine, here's a nmap scan result
