"The rock is said to measure approximately 1.2 kilometres (less than a mile) across - only one tenth of the size of the meteor thought to have wiped out the dinosaurs 65 million years ago"
... yeah but I'm am even less than one tenth the size of a dinosaur...
Could this be used to stop war-driving, by not letting anybody in that hadn't the right 2d/3d position (eg: inside the company)? It would probably not stop sniffing, but possibly it could prevent a break-in?

Movies like the Matrix, Lords of the Rings etc are social events. People will watch it in the cinema among their friends family no matter how easy it is to get at divx copy.
I had a hands on expirience when me and my girlfriend should assemble our 16-pieces IQ-light. It did seem like she liked my lecture about graph theory and geometric algebra and was more focus on the new lamp.
Check this and you will see that it doesn't make sense to say "as fast as" in general when it comes to the new processors. In the "Video-Encoding MPEG-2: Main Concept 1.3" test the Athlon XP 2100+ does the job quicker than the 2.4 GHz Intel. In the "Multimedia: PC Mark 2002" test the 2.4 GHz Intel gets a better rating than the Athlon XP 2400+.

Most members of TBL are today employed in the games industry. Dutch members Danny, Tim and Lowlife work at Eidos Interactive ( http://www.edios.co.uk), in the UK; Kalms, Offa, Eq, Rubberduck och Louie all work at Digital Illusions Computer Entertainment (http://www.dice.se) in Sweden. Rodney also works/worked on games.
Many of the people from the demo scene went into the game industri. E.g. people from The Silents are behind the game company iointeractive (ioi.dk) that under eidos.com released Hitman 1&2.
Anyone how can list other connections between the demo scene and the game industry?
-5, move along sir, nothing to see here
So basically all this test shows is that:
Vegetarians are not as smart as they could have been.

It depends on the job.
They went for video cds instead of DVD because of the region lock:
"This is a wonderfull machine but it can only play these sing-cry-kiss movies from Bollywood"
...and this is what is supposed to look "pretty darn good" with its 101x80 pixel screen and a 256 color palette.
Yep taste can be questioned...

Hmmm... then remove the flimsy plastic film...
If they succeed this can be a real eye-opener for the politicians. Patents on software is not an overall good idea for business.
Michael don't you need a sleep? You have done all the posting for more than 24 hours...

Adding light under the keys in a low-light situation will actually make it harder to read the letters on the surface of the key.

Pretty good karma considering you are not able to count to three...
I also found this: Future Crew formed bitboys, a graphic cards company.
But I have a vague memory of that they also made some games...

"What building in existance right now do you believe to be able to withstand the impact of 767s?"
E.g. Most western nuclear power plants should be able to withstand the impact.
"If you think that any building out there would withstand that you are a bigger moron than you seem."
Who modded this up and why? Please explain!
