    The problem is that when Will enters the big screen my mind will keep reminding me Fresh Prince, Jim West, Men in Black, Getting Jiggy a.s.o.. It might not be fair but that is the name of the game - an actor will always piggybag his last couple of acts.

    "Tung sten" in danish/norwegian means heavy stone or heavy brick (this is why the heavy element is named like that).

    1 Mhz should be enough for everybody. That game 1942 was running perfectly fine on my c64 so you don't need a 2600+ to run it and why do keep calling it "Battlefield 1942"?

    Personally I would rather have:
    a color iPAQ with GSM-jacket or a palm-pilot with blue tooth and Ericssons T68 (color display, bluetooth aso).

    A the price is approx the same...

    I use my laptop for DVD viewing and then often have to eject my dvd's when using the laptop for work in the daytime. Every dvd-player app I have tried restarts "the hole show" when the dvd is inserted.

    Maybe the DVD doesn't need rewinding, but when you want to see the last part of the film you didn't finish yesterday and the 4 minute intro/disclaimer/antipiracyinfo shows up again and your forward button is disabled, you dream about the glory days of the VHS.

    ...but still a new digital VHS doesn't make sence

    That will save me a headacke or two - my DELL Inspiron desktop-replacement starts an aeroplane everytime it does something harder than running an editor.

    Slashdot is truely full of nationalistic yankees. Jokes about american-stereotype is mod'ed down, but jokes concerning europeans, asians, etc. are funny.

    If big corps are doing something to the american people SlashDot is full of anti-commercial comments. But in Europe M$ can behave as they please.

    I thought the fight against monopolies was concerning the entire world.

    In fact we have such taxes in Denmark. Not that I like it though. The money from the CD's goes to the record artists and sadly not the software industry.

    Actually Denmark has an exporting music-industry (remember that annoying "I'm a Barbie-girl" by Aqua?) these years in the ultra-pop genre. The main-export target is Asia. BTW Lars Ulrik's born and raised in Denmark...

    The actual reason for this law is to protect the citizen who is downloading something that he/she has no chance of knowing whether the stuff is copyrighted.
