Who would want to even do that is beyond me, it made me sick to just look at it. Its like putting janet reno in a miss usa contest, for lack of a better description.
I disagree. Ultimately choices are good for competition, and a better product will result. Sure, Microsoft would like their product to become a standard, and their licensing structure is set to get wider acceptance--it is up to the consumer. Do you want WM9 support?
Elementary chaos theory tells us that all robots will eventually turn against their masters and run amok, in an orgy of blood and the kicking and the biting with the metal teeth and the hurting and shoving.
I think this is a great start to give a million dollars to a credible university, with a guy who seems to be on level about the subject, but just how far will a million dollars get them? How will it be spent? This is a cause that I know I would gladdly donate to, if it were managed fairly to just the wrongs of congress.
I purchased my replaytv (the old one, panasonic showstopper) from best buy when they dumped replay nation wide. The manager told me that no one was buying them, because the equivalant tivo was ~100 dollars less...of course you had to buy a subscription servive for the tivo, but joe blow average american didn' t understand that at the time of purchase, and thus picked the lower priced tivo.
This is a move that could allow sonic blue to be picked up by the national chains again...if you can't out sell them, copy their model type of thing.
btw, yes I got an awesome deal on my replaytv and love it.
While portable mp3 players are cool, I think home audio players is kind of silly (why not just get an old computer), it would be great to get a true headunit for my car that had radio tuner and could play cd's and mp3 cdr's. Till then, count me out.
you forgot posting to /.

DNF was named correctly, it will take them forever to write it.
Only time will tell if "Phantom" was also named appropriately.

Yes?
Great, buy a WM9 enabled product.
No?
That's fine too.
D. All of the above
We are windows shop, but at home its mandrake. Not like I use the computer much at home...8-10 hours at work it enough for me (and my eyes).
that is because pirate jokes are timeless
A pirate walks into a bar, with a steering wheel on his crotch.
The bartender brings this to the pirate's attention.
The pirate replies: "AArghh! It's driving me nuts!"

Yeah! What's the point in competition?
We should discourage anything that might bring a new perspective on linux. Yes! We should all become complaisant with our current choices.

These guys can find out about secret jets, get proof of there existance, all the while the government denies its existance.
Yet, I can't even find matching socks.

I'm not going to jail for you, or you, or anybody!
That depends on parity or of the day of the year on the gregorian calendar system.
