Not saying they worked with him during the 2nd term, but someone needed to put the brakes on since he was driving the country over a cliff, and had already proved him self irresponsible with the way he lied his way into a war that was not in our country's best interest.

    All this does is show the world that Apple was lying through their teeth when they said it was about making room for more battery. Not sure what space they are going to save in the iMac or the Mac Pro.

    Since video cards tend not to be bottle-necked by the PCIE slot (you barely lose any performance going from PCIE 3.0 to PCIE 2.0) I don't see the problem of running graphics off an x8 slot.

Since I am white and relatively well off, when I get out of the hospital and before my bruises are healed my lawyer will, over lunch with the DA, inform them that it would be best for them to settle for the outrageously large number he has written on a small piece of paper otherwise he will have a very simple time pillorying them in the press and courts.

    I disagree, people don't buy MS products for the OS, they certainly do for the software, as more of it runs on Windows then any other OS.

    If you bought your computer for the fashionable OS the you bought the equivalent of a decorative hammer. Computers are tools, and I am a firm believer that the OS should get out of your way so your software (the whole reason you have a computer) can do it's work.

    Pretty sure they have a minimum drinking age of 21 like everywhere else that gets federal highway funds.

    Oh wait, not only that but here:
    Wisconsin Act 337, raised the drinking age to 21 and brought the state into compliance with the NMDA (National Minimum Drinking Age) on September 1, 1986.

    So what point were you trying to make again?

    monopoly rights for a limited duration (originally under 20 years for copyright and patents). Don't blame them for our current crop of elected toadies and their eternity minus a day goal. We only have ourselves to blame shitty copyright laws.

    What taxi company is a monopoly? I have never been to a city in America with only on taxi company in my life, and I seriously doubt you could come up with one.

    Except the money would go to Ireland not the EU, so in what way does the EU benefit other then to force a member nation to fall in line with the rules they agreed to. This rule has been in place since before the EU, it was a carry over rule from the days of the EEC.

    The rule actually predates the EU, it was a carryover rule from the EEC.

  24. Tim, you were paying 500ths of 1 percent, you knew EU/EEC rules didn't allow EU/EEC countries to make those kind of deals. If you didn't know that then you should fire your lawyers as they did not do due diligence. So quit crying and pay your fair share.
