They can accomplish the same goal by streaming their videos on Windows Media or RealPlayer! They don't even have to hire anyone to do the manual labor.
There's no physical restriction to limit US citizens from visiting Cuba via Canada or Mexico either. But I'm sure you'll get an invite to a sit-down visit with certain interested individuals upon your return.
CNet news reports that DivX is doing its best to become a digital video compression standard, and has been very successful in courting DVD manufacturers to adopt the DivX format.
The DivX formmated has successfully courted this manufacturer. (Rubs lovingly my spindle of CD-R's)
And to add on to what gaijin has already said, this "stunt" was requested by the White House staff, which cost some astronomical sum (I heard in the single-digit millions?) to have to startup the carrier's engines and move it away from the shore so that the aircraft can do its landing.
He also has a Lexus SC400. I saw him once a couple years back at a factory outlet store north of Seattle loading a fridge into the backseat. (Maybe he's sold it by now?)
Well, Ford has been on its Linux plan for at least 2-3 years. So it would be difficult for them to pull back after spending monstrous amounts of IT budget on this thing.

I was interviewing with them last year (got the job, but had to decline it), and believe me - they were really gung-ho on Linux. Even the top enchilada PHB CIO at Ford who gave the welcoming speech talked about it.
From what I've heard from my friend, India is going through the same cycle the US did 5-8 years ago. Hack VB script chodes are overflowing the HR resume piles in Bangalore. Their HR people are having a tough time sifting through all the fakes from the Real McCoys (resumes with 20 different language/software skills versus someone who's actually skilled)
Of course, if one has a sly sense of humor, and was put to the task of compiling a report for the suits in Hollywood as to identifying the leaks in the industry, the title page would have, in big huge letters, "For Your Consideration."
Same with the place I work in. But I think they're much, much more receptive and welcoming if you're sending people there to train their workers. Big difference from the guy mentioned in the article who just wanted a paycheck.

We also spent $6,000 on a product to let us sync PowerPoint slides to live streaming video.
Can be done for nearly free with QuickTime ($30)
Face it. The male body is not nearly as nice as the female body, and I believe both genders generally acknowledge this fact.
Ah I just spat Cola all over my monitor. Oh wait, I'm too short for that. It ended up all over the keyword and mouse instead. Damn insensitive clod...

For the porn - that's easy. Zip up the MPEG/avi and the closer the file approaches a compression rate of 50%, the more likely that it is porn.
I mean...seriously...porn consists of mainly 2 motion frames, albeit displayed repeatedly.
snowmobilers jacket that can detect crashes and txt an SMS message for help, carpet that can detect motion, or a T-shirt that shows videos
What about some moral fiber that can detect corrupt CEO's?

No, no, no (shakes finger)...it's more like:
1. Remove nsa.vb
2. Remove sendMSInfo.vb
3. Remove remoteAdminGUI.frm
Dead or retired? You mean like Oliver North, Henry Kissinger, and Donald Rumsfeld? Last I heard they're still pretty active in American politics.
I understand your sentiments, but come on...
How much great art came out of Russia under communism?
Rachmaninoff, Bolshoi Theater, Dostoyevski, Shostakovich,...
How much great technology did they invent? How productive were their workers?
Yuri Gagarin/Sputnik
Actually, Finland is technically not Scandinavia (except for an area of exception in the northwest of the country)
Well, if you can make 200 million Americans (70% of Americans, according to NYTimes) believe that Saddam orchestrated 9/11...

It's going to be the Ford Escape/Mazda Tribute that'll be hybridized.
No no no. Currency came about because my monarchy needed to build marketplaces and develop the science of Economy in the future.
