Mine were. I had horrible grades, and every marking period: "Student is not working to potential." I just wasn't doing homework. It was a waste of time. I was scoring 95 or better on pretty much all of my tests, so I didn't see the point.
I wish I had just played their game sometimes and gotten better grades, but no regrets.
As to the mono example, I once had pnuemonia for 6.5 weeks while my parents thought I was faking it. That made for a lot of "rosonowski skips school to go lay down somewhere and slowly die"
Ok, while it doesn't say that states cannot pass laws, the structured nature of law makes those laws invalid.
The constitution is the highest law in the land, and if congress doesn't have the right to make those laws, why should states? (ok, a bit of a flimsy argument. I'll shut ut up.)
I'm sorry, IANAMT (I am not a military tactician) but do we really need to be able to strike someone within a period of two hours? Hypersonic jets are cool and all, but I think they would be better applied in the commercial market, not the military.
Dibs. =P Seriously, though, would you consider sending me one if I pay shipping? I have family in from out of town, and I don't want them asking so many damn times if they can use my computer.
Because the interface is highly intuitive. Because the downloads are quick. (Ever tried to get a file you really need in gnutella? It takes forever...)
While Deep Freeze is nice, I would recommend having some sort of external server to load files from. Saving files locally, in my experience, always ends up a disaster.
Yep. I've got a water cooled machine sitting right next to me. I don't even have it cooled as a matter of overclocking (although that is a nice little bennie) I have it WC'd because I can't stand fan noise.
I never said that they were. But if you take all of the p2p users, lump them together, then take percentages of who is using what, you'll find that the biggest market is the Windows users.
Sure, you can write something in java (what limewire has done) but the biggest market for now is MS Windows. I don't like it, but that's the way it is, at least for a little while longer.
I think that what he meant to say is that once the United States had taken over the entire world, they would have no need to keep their advanced tech a secret anymore, since they already controlled the world.
I ended up coughing blood all over dinner. They took me to a doctor pretty quick after that.
I remember my stepdad talking about using wax at the small reactor they maintained on campus... so that does make sense.

Change the key.
Ow. That was painful.
That's one of the best ideas I've heard all day.

It's an all digital signal, with no encryption. Not that I can't get that any number of other ways, faster, but yeah.
That would explain the goatse guy....
Yeah, but it was pretty damn close.
Campbell himself even said he didn't learn how to act until about halfway through ed2.
Yeah, but the shock from a phone line still hurts like hell.

Or a couple billion.
Throwing away pIII 600s?

Twenty-two minutes.

Care to elaborate?

Most of the p2p 'illegal use' users out there are using windows.
'nuff said.

I felt my money was well spent, even without all of the 'phillosophy'. It was entertaining
It begs to be asked, but "Why?"
