    I remember my stepdad talking about using wax at the small reactor they maintained on campus... so that does make sense.

    Mine were. I had horrible grades, and every marking period: "Student is not working to potential." I just wasn't doing homework. It was a waste of time. I was scoring 95 or better on pretty much all of my tests, so I didn't see the point.

    I wish I had just played their game sometimes and gotten better grades, but no regrets.

    As to the mono example, I once had pnuemonia for 6.5 weeks while my parents thought I was faking it. That made for a lot of "rosonowski skips school to go lay down somewhere and slowly die"

    Ok, while it doesn't say that states cannot pass laws, the structured nature of law makes those laws invalid.

    The constitution is the highest law in the land, and if congress doesn't have the right to make those laws, why should states? (ok, a bit of a flimsy argument. I'll shut ut up.)

    I'm sorry, IANAMT (I am not a military tactician) but do we really need to be able to strike someone within a period of two hours? Hypersonic jets are cool and all, but I think they would be better applied in the commercial market, not the military.

    Because the interface is highly intuitive. Because the downloads are quick. (Ever tried to get a file you really need in gnutella? It takes forever...)

    While Deep Freeze is nice, I would recommend having some sort of external server to load files from. Saving files locally, in my experience, always ends up a disaster.

    Yep. I've got a water cooled machine sitting right next to me. I don't even have it cooled as a matter of overclocking (although that is a nice little bennie) I have it WC'd because I can't stand fan noise.

    I never said that they were. But if you take all of the p2p users, lump them together, then take percentages of who is using what, you'll find that the biggest market is the Windows users.

    Sure, you can write something in java (what limewire has done) but the biggest market for now is MS Windows. I don't like it, but that's the way it is, at least for a little while longer.
