Have you ever driven on a Euro motorway? Where the Audi/BMW/Alfa station wagons whip up right behind you at 90 and give you the high beam flash so you get the F out of the way?
Shitheaded driving isn't American only.
And when, exactly have you seen a cyclist killed by a car and the response been "they should not have been there"?
That's right, you haven't. You're just getting your rocks off ripping on the stupid people because you're so much smarter than they are. And yet you continue to live in Michigan.
What the hell is wrong with you retards that any criticism of the current boondoggle must mean we don't want to change anything? Are you just stupid, dishonest, or so close-minded you aren't paying attention?
And by failing to mention the onerous requirements NYS puts in all health insurance plans as a reason for their being so expensive, you either don't know what you're talking about either, or you're being dishonest.
It's absolutely crazy. But it's crazy of our own doing, thanks to your benevolent rulers selling us all down the river.
So you're saying it's a good idea to extract wealth from the poor and middle class of your country, and give it away to rich American companies to come build on your soil, so that you can get a few jobs out of the deal?
Nice that you see us all as merely resources to be kept in good running order, as opposed to human beings.
You should also consider that, in our nice modern world us first-worlders live in, "diseases" are relatively rare things. And should be what insurance is for.
If you were going to build a robot car, why not build it out of something you can get real cheap. Like, say, you know, your Grandma's Plymouth Aries K.
Unless you're a sucker for it, you don't have to work 10+ hour days. And if you're only getting 5 vaca days per year, you're in a shitty job.
Sure, there are some long days in IT, but you know that going in. Consistent long days are, again, a sign you're in the wrong company. I get 23 days off a year (holidays, vacation, personal days) and another 40 hours of sick time, and I haven't been here a full year yet. I don't get paid OT, but there are others here who do (the hourly types).
5 days a year off? Wow. No wonder you'd think the US sucks.;)
So you're admitting you go a reward for your hard work... and then saying you should unionize because you didn't get ENOUGH of a reward? Or something like that? You got a significant raise, and you don't think that had anything to do with your big 60 day project.
Hmm, perhaps you should read that more closely. The "primarily" bit in there makes your whole "you'd be wrong about that" wrong. Particularly since the GP actually used the word "sole".
Say goodbye to this type of innovation if things continue down the pathetic road we're on. Thanks, politicians!
Why the hell should I have to take time out of my day to go sit in a doc's office for a hour, for a 30 second consult, to get my prescription meds? If I can do it from the privacy of my own home, and the doc already has access to my charts, why not?
Just out of curiosity, what light, agile, well-built car would you buy to transport 3 young kids given the rules about car seats?
Because I'd rather not by a 3-row SUV like the Traverse or Highlander, but I don't see any other good option, other than not having kids, and that's a pretty shitty one.
When I lived in VA I had an alarm system - I think it was connected with ADT but I forget. The cell service cost maybe $30 for setup, and then $8 per month more. But I got a discount on my homeowners' insurance, so I couldn't complain when my wife demanded it be installed...
Some kids, like me, get pretty ill when reading in a moving car. Books were not an option for me.
Eh, get over yourself.

What the.....?
So you're saying it's a good idea to extract wealth from the poor and middle class of your country, and give it away to rich American companies to come build on your soil, so that you can get a few jobs out of the deal?
You'd make a good politician.
Nice that you see us all as merely resources to be kept in good running order, as opposed to human beings.
You should also consider that, in our nice modern world us first-worlders live in, "diseases" are relatively rare things. And should be what insurance is for.
The sniffles don't fucking count.
I, for one, am okay with your supposition.
If you were going to build a robot car, why not build it out of something you can get real cheap. Like, say, you know, your Grandma's Plymouth Aries K.
.... because as everyone knows, your union really looks out for you.
HAHAHAHAAHAHHA!!!!! Sorry, I couldn't type that with a straight face.
I was wondering where the "andnothingofvaluewaslost" tag was...
"This is _exactly_ what we feared would happen."
And what "_exactly_" is that, exactly? Do you really think they want to kill humans?
It's nowhere near that bad.

You sound like an average ungrateful twit, to me.

Not only that, but complete disrespect for medical opinions that are not their own.
For example: Tell your general doctor what your physical therapist said.

Like what, out of curiosity?
How can you call yourself a /. geek and fail to suggest an hour or two at the Royal Observatory!??!
Why not just ban laptops from planes and make it EVEN MORE painful to fly? There's almost zero reason to use an airplane any more as it is...
More likely you play with a bunch of moronic juveniles who can't figure out HOW to run a game session without combat.
"all of this was done at no cost to me"
You don't pay taxes? Now we know why "they" were looking at you. :) /pedant...
We're not ALL evil! I mean, we DO keep the trains running on time.

Carbon nanotubes... is there anything they _can't_ do?
