Perhaps they will choose their words carefully when making comparisons, but they do criticize the weaker points. I mean, NVIDIA and ATI cards are compared to each other all the time on these sites. Michael's criticism on them for doing a favorable review of this card is completely ridiculous, for if they were indeed untruthful/untrustworthy/whatever in examining this ATI card, NVIDIA ould simply stop sending them hardware early, and the same principle applies the other way around.
However, there does seem to be a tendency to focus on the positive aspects of the products, but still, those benchmarks are out there, and clear explanations with them what they mean, how they were obtained, and why they are the way they are...
You seem to be forgetting 1 thing, though...."export". American companies sell cigarettes all over the world without having to deal with the consequences...
No sane cook would "flip" a real pancake, that is one that is big enough to serve as a meal. Put a flat object with a handle upside down on the pan, turn the whole thing around, and let the pancake slide from the flat object back into the pan.
Hmmm, according to XP the application used most often on my computer is Winamp, closely followed by Spider solitaire. Now I'm sure there is some way I can blame M$ for this;-)
Yeah, I checked some reviews in the meantime and it looks like it's really bad. Quite a shame, considering the originality of the idea, IMHO. I'd love to stroll around on my harddisk, especially if there was support for a wider variety of files. Just imagine killing that bugger eating parts out of that source code you spent so much time coding late last night;-)
Wouldn't be the first time. Philips is well-known for being very Windows oriented, but if someone decides to hack up a *nix driver for one of their devices, they certainly don't mind linking to it from their website...just don't expect any help from techsupport getting it working;-)
Sell the install disk. Maybe eBay won't let you, under MS pressure, but people managed to sell things before eBay cam along. You have the right to
Actually, you don't...that's the whole idea behind an OEM license, it's not to be separated from the computer it came with.
Secondly, install disk? You'll be lucky to have the actual cab files from the CD somewhere on the harddisk. If you aren't lucky they're located in a hidden partition somewhere where only the special "recovery disc" can access it. Sure, you can access it with a little effort, and burn a cd from it, but little point in selling that, is there?
Indeed, French keyboards make no sense whatsoever. I mean, why on earth would one want the accents which are used every other word instead of having all the numbers right there on top. I mean, that numerical thing on the side that has all those numbers anyway must be some funny foreign thing too...
First of all, how is this offtopic? It relates directly to its parents, as the Creatures game is very similar to the Sims in that you get to actively guide an "AI" through a virtual life.
Second, the creatures is great. There are great games that don't involve killing, and Creatures is one of them.
One big difference between creatures and the sims though, i don't think i've ever seen anyone stuff his sims with aphrodisiacs the way i used to treat those poor creatures:-)
Breed damned, you're gonna die in a couple of hours!
I don't want my e-mail client to filter it out. This means both my processing time and bandwidth are used to process spam. Let the mailserver(ISP)take care of it...
Who cares? What happens when they respawn is what I would like to know...
There's plenty of screensavers that'll allow you to just feed an .mpg or .avi file for example, or in some cases even a whole playlist.
I use this one under Windows, surely something similar exists under whatever OS you happen to be running...
fixit! writes "Have a look at this cool 3D animation of the Linux kernel source. This is how a source browser should look like!"
;-)
That's all nice and cool, but could we have a 3D shooter next where you can use a BFG#### to go bughunting?
So you give them a choice. Home vs. Pro for example...
Oi, no disrespecting the website that taught me how to turn my Duron into fancy fireworks....

And to add to the confusion, crepes really are french, originally ;-)

Run the numbers. You are likely to find out the income from tobacco sales beats the entire medical budget....

Did you happen to see that clip from Tatu, "All the things she said"? Afaik it's been banned from the BBC for example.
It does, sort of :/ Basic functionality, a separate window for each channel, etc.
Actually, there are clean signs that geeks still have a big say in what happens at google. For example Google-fight is a typical joke for geeks...

Wasn't there fps called Virus years ago, where levels were created after your directory structure?
Nice way of doublechecking whether you really wanted to delete all that porn...(it used images found in directories as textures for the walls)

Ah, so rougly among the same lines as reading the manual? Which is where the step-by-step for this procedure would/should be located anyway?

we still owe Bush a favor for last year .
