    monthly cost of gas=G
    Difference =Y

    if your gas bill is higher or about even than the lease payment (Y 0) then it may not be a good deal (you get the car at least)
    the real killer will be how much will the I HAVE CASH price be??

    actually it does kind of make sense since you could have a Unix/Linux/Mac system be a carrier for a virus
    (also its becoming cool to provide a Live AntiVirus CD and most of them are Linux based)

    if at all possible rig the needed voodoo to make everything in %user%\ either on the network to begin with or have it cloned to a network location that way you save the rare "User BrainWidth" resource.

    if somebody is loading the world when its not needed then that can't be fixed by hardware/software upgrades
    you will need to patch/replace the actual defective part

    well lets see

    1 salting: a number is added into the mix to jig the results (and this may not be a known number for a particular setup)

    2 the password function itself is designed to be slow and the encoder works one way (no decode)

    what could be a very simple procedure for 99.9999% of patients could be deadly due to an allergy or some physical defect you would have noticed SINCE ITS IN THE RECORDS.

    me i wish you could get a standardized flash key with a dump of your records (can't access the main server
    just use the local copy) (not counting the pay us a couple hundred a year and we will include this neat flash key
    type services)

    we needs to get back to the whole
    play science for the munchkins (where vinegar and baking soda are the worst chemicals they use)
    get more real as they get bigger (when they can add a chemical to a half full beaker of water correctly they can go beyond play stuff)
    by the time they are old enough for a "wand" they should be using fire and the more nasty stuff
    and by the time they are in high school they should be working with 3 liter kegs of Hydroflouric acid and other "fun stuff"

    by the time they are of legal age they should be able to work out how to brew a keg and make their own fireworks
    (and know that combining these is a bad thing)

    the car radio thing fails because its really that:

    1 the head unit is part of the dash
    2 you can take the face plate off but it will still work
    3 several systems are designed to use hidden controls to directly operate the radio
    4 even if you somehow cut the head unit out the next time you go in for service they will
    "For Free" reinstall the unit (and may in fact give you the newest unit)
    5 the car does not work right even without the head unit because you have to use modified parts (or parts from a previous model) to get the car to start without the head unit

    if there was a way for the data to be displayed on what stands to be an included (chances are #price rank of car#* 10%) display then even if its gibberish to a non mechanic then all i would take is a mechanic to see the display (maybe via cell phone pic) to advise the person from the "oh not serious come in when you are ready" to "STOP THE CAR RIGHT NOW IM SENDING YOU A TOW TRUCK" range.

    a Bus" method of writing a textbook.

    A textbook should be written so that all of the information for the course is in the book so that the Teacher
    (or the top 10% of the class) only has to worry about the understanding ("why") part of the course. Missing information means the book is defective.

    the problem with that is the sideshow is possible SEC/DOJ charges against the execs and these are not small time charges
