    1. Microsoft will not sue any Open Source developer, distributor, or user over software patents.
    2.Open Source will not sue Microsoft or any Microsoft customer over software patents.
    3. No money will change hands in either direction.

    a sort of 3 laws rewrite of this could be
    1 Open Source Software (and related hardware devices) shall be considered a patent DMZ (patents do not exist inside the FLOSS community)
    2 No Patent lawsuit shall be allowed that singles out any member of the "Software Community" (if you get sued you can use any patent in the pool)
    3 GPL (or compatible) licenses will be considered as Standard Agreements ( if you want to use "The Pool" you need to be GPLish)

    so you could sue over a Non open source patent (ie a closed source windows program) but you can't sue over a Linux/Open Source Patent since that means IBM Novell ect will then go hunting for the 300 patents you are infringing on.

    Leaving aside the fact that this, like all similar proposals, ignores the manifold legal hurdles in defining "adult" and "non-adult" content (just read the book of Revelations in the Bible sometime)

    a random person walks up to you and sticks you with a pin/ lance = bizzare
    100,000 people stick you with a pin = your dead (either you bleed to death or somebody gets lucky

    1 phone call/ spam = anoying
    100,00 = a problem

    Umm if you had even the slightest sliver of a clue you would know exactly what the posting chain was

    (Adam = Club Monkey was most likely given a PR written thing to post so he posted it)

    everybody do yourself a favour and check the MD5 sums of your roms there are 2 sets running about and RTFD before you do your install and when in doubt ask on the mandriva Club forums (have a box of banannas handy if you have Borken Your Boxen)

    Not quite UID [Zero] is a superuser (normally called root) but it is possible to have others in the root group act as superusers/admins but not be root (and bet able to act as THE ADMIN)
    plus you can get into client V server root (having the root account on clients but not the root for say a master key server or an AD server)

    even if the surrounding area had a PERFECT method of removing guns this is a Technical University so all you would need is

    1 visit the machine shop to make your shells/guns
    2 visit the chemical lab to make some gun powder
    3 revisit the machine shop to load your shells
    4 Go Nuts
    5 Profit!! (in HELL)

    folks all they need to do QuadPlus UNGOOD is right there on campus (Nuke lab anyone??)

    Im of the sort that i would setup an internal system to replicate "My Space" (use usbkeys for access) and then use a whitelist to unblock public sites. I would also have keylogged systems on the DMZ for full access in a single room.

    Of course crimes against children would be No Appeal Death Penalty with mother and fathers required on the jury in my book (and yes a certain level would be required
    for this level of action say felony/federal level).

    This guy needs to get out of the business.

    okay shootout time get a office 2003 document that is reasonably sized and complicated (say a ten page nontrivial document)
    now pull it up in both Open office and then in MS office 2007 and convert to native format (ie both xml formats)
    grade each file on

    1 how well the convert went (fonts margins/style yadda)
    2 rip each file down to the xml payload and then try to understand the file (get a geek to try to do the render in his head)
    3 file size (smaller is better)

    Chase had a nasty habit of counting early payments as late for the previous billing cycle.

    im not sure that would even be remotely legal if a payment was tendered for that month ie starting with a current account
    pay in april for april

    pay in may for june
    should get you some sort of reward not an extra fee

    it depends on the laptop some laptops have the graphics on a mini pci card (if you flip the laptop on its bottom you will see a group of panels one might be the graphics card)

    No but if you do even a bit of research Vista Home Premium/ Vista Ultimate is what you want if you need the whole Aeroglass bells wistles and gongs version.
    kind of like Mandriva Discovery, Power Pack, and Power Pack Plus
