    Back where I used to live, some guys started a small business in R/C.

    They had a nice paved surface for "Road Racing", a dirt track and a small airfield.

    Saturdays were a hoot when half a dozen guys and girls would take their cars out and some others would have their aircraft there.

    They would even have a "regatta" at the Red Cross water safety pond.

    This article brought the shop back to my mind, I've been away for about five years.

    Their little shop, which had a nice storefront operation and a big mail order business, is here.

    That had to be the most disjointed, barely readable, "journalistic" effort I have seen since my high schools "newspaper", some 22 yrs ago!

    We may soon get our own set of retarded laws, if we don't watch out.
    In the recent "Speach from the Throne", the Governor General stated "...the government will adapt its intellectual property framework to enable Canada to be a world leader on emerging issues such as new life forms."

    Then there was the bit about "The government will revise Canadian copyright rules to ensure that Canada has a progressive regime that supports increased investment in knowledge and cultural works."

    This has me a little wary and I will be keeping an eye open for the changes.

    This is a subject that I am very interested in.
    As a testing team lead for Web applications, I often have the debate as to why we don't automate more of our testing.
    Automated testing is good for Regression testing ONLY!
    Once your site is stable enough to use automated testing tool, you don't have to worry about it because you are out of a job.
    While you are developing the site you should use validation tools.
    There are many that are readily available, such as: Bobby for accessability testing; W3C for validation of HTML, CSS, XML...; Coast for link checking; Webglimpse for change control.
    Log in to a site such QAForums for various opinion and reccomendations.
    Do not rely on automation totally. Only a human with all their failings and experiences will be able to do what no automated tool can, the "stupid user stuff".

    What you really want is an Sony MVC-FD 91 or lower model #.
    It saves its pictures to floppy, does in unit formatting, diskcopy, deletes, etc.
    Has all the "normal pre-sets".
    Writes a HTML file to the diskette so they can be viewed by any browser from any PC.

    I'm as big a fan of "New Tech" as anybody but, sometimes, you can't improve on simplicity.

    Of course, you can't buy them new anymore, since they started with the CD-RW storage, but you can pick them up second hand.

    I've had mine for almost 3 years and it is still as good as ever.

    The biggest benefit is floppies are so inexpensive and ubiquitous there is no shortage of media.

    What self-respecting Geek doesn't have a floppy at the ready? *Ducks*

    I believe there may be only one god, but, which one?
    Christians believe in one, Hindus in another, Buddists.....
    Who's right or wrong?

    During the Papal visit to North America this summer, when I saw him raised high on a platform(dias?), I had visions of centuries ago where the Egyptian pharohs would be similarly positioned.
    Thier gods were just as valid to them as yours is to you.

    When this religious belief wanes, there will be another "One True God". It might even be ME.
