And I mean yes, AD&D and others all have books. They're table top RPGs. Why should I need a manual for an electronic RPG? The computer is the DM, and not knowing how powerful an enemy is and its vital stats are half the challenge in computer RPGs.
Heh. Or you could figure out a way to connect it to a TV screen. And if you could figure out how to hook up a typewriter electronically, you could send out your own alerts to the Internet. I think we're on to something here.
But if you're really technically savvy, you're a) running a firewall, so many exploits won't hit you. b) not running insecure software (Outlook, IE, etc). c) smart enough to realize patches can cause problems, so maybe you'd like to wait 3 or 4 days until others have tried it
So a NetApp storage system is two separate pieces, the hardware and the software. If I decide to sell my old NetApp, does this mean I can sell the hardware to someone, and the software to someone else? That doesn't sound like something that NetApp would like.
Hell yeah, I'd pirate text books in a flash. 1) Buy the first edition of a new $90 Biology book 2) Have the Prof decide he won't use it next year 3) When the class is over, take it back to the bookstore 4) Get $0 because "We're not using it next year" 5) ??? 6) Profit!
This has been on rinkworks for years. Check out the site for more funny stuff.

Wow! I need to see this. How can I get a DVD? Or maybe a little ripping is possible?
You misunderstand. He was talking about *computer* RPGs, such as Diablo or Everquest.
If you haven't played Ikaruga for the Cube Or Dreamcast you should really try it out. Great game, but I doubt it's humanly possible to beat.

And miranda supports AOL now I think, if you're on Windows - www.miranda-im.com
No no, it's *spelled* S C O, but it's pronouned "ass hats"
MPlayer, Xine.
When you switch to Gaim
Please, the nvidia drivers are 12MB.

d) Not running Windows anyway
XWin is not a development project. It's a community forum.
It seems like a *lot* of their graphical style is ripped off of MS Office 2000, see for an example.
I was not kidding. I have heard of a "case mod" and a "modded case", but never heard them referred to as a "modcase"...that makes no sense at all.
What on *earth* is a modcase!??!?!?!?
What's GmbH mean? I seen it on German corporate websites I think.
Aaaaaand...poking around in the menus lets you set it up so the description comes first.
KDE does what you're talking about, except in reverese. The default configuration is to list items in the menu like this:
Internet
|-> Konqueror (Web Browser)
|-> KNode (News Reader)
|-> KPPP (Internet Dial-up Tool)
There was a good reason for the change. An example in the discussion was like this:
1357: rpc_authflavor_t authflavour;
which means that there are inconsistencies in the variable naming, which could lead to confusion later on.
I wouldn't see why not. Apparently it's a money maker in Japan.
Then I must own the hardware. I could put something else on it in place of their software.

I agree. Nintendo should stop making good games, and focus on game of the year quality titles like BMX XXX.
