Given the previous attacks by Cyber-Terroists (eg: those few odd groups protesting the RNC) I'm not surprised. If they limit the connections to US only it'll be alot easier to track them down.

He later comes back in Slave II and hovers right over the opening and burns the crap outta the Sarlacc with the jet exhaust, but he returns the favor of Slow Digestion by not killing it entirely.
Of course this is all from memory which might not be too accurate.
