    First you'd have to get that 1GB in that acct in the first place. Even with a high end DSL/Cable connection you're looking at a long upload time.

    Yes but how many services allow you to *send* 500MB attachments (excluding running your own mailserver). Then again you need to upload *100GB* which would still take alot of time none-the-less. Either way 100GB/1TB at that point everything is just gravy.

    Valve didn't really have any multi-player in HL either. CS/TFC/DoD were all 3rd party mods which got popular and Valve made them 'official' mods or whatever you want to call them. I'm sure there will be 101 Multi-Player mods out there. Not to mention SvenCoop2 :)

    Jeff Waugh : At its core, Ubuntu *is* Debian. Our six-monthly releases are based on Debian's "sid" development branch, with lots of bugfixing and integration work (which goes back to Debian), and some special additions such as the very latest GNOME releases.     A) you're easily logged

    It's not the Hard Drive manufacturers that need to stop the practice, it's all the users who dont know what a GB is.

    20 GB = 20 * 10^9 Bytes = 20,000,000,000 Bytes
    20 GiB = 20 * 2^30 Bytes = 21,474,836,480 Bytes

    20 GB = 18.5 GiB.

    bar = (foo * 10^9)/1073741824
    Where foo is the Metric GB and bar is the Binary GiB.

    According to the CNET review it get's 16 hours of playback. Which is over twice that of the iPod. That's twice as long with a color screen then the iPod with your 'monocrome' screen.

    How would Valve be harmed by giving in on this issue? How would the consumers be harmed?

    Use your same logic against the music industry. Valve would be artists and VUG would be the 'evil people that take your money like the RIAA'. So sure, when it comes to music RIAA is evil! But with games, the 'artist' should bend over backwards and take it in the ass.

    I know one of the guys that wrote one of the 'famous' if you could even call it that ones. It's actually pretty well done. Even feeding the blogs through those "Guess your Gender" algo's it would say it was a girl. Even though it was a guy who made the hoax. :)
