    They made an MP3 Player like any Rio or what-have-you except it fits in the back of the gameboy, takes up the gameboy's battery, and listens to the gameboy telling it what buttons were pressed.

    If you want to play Starcraft, Blizzard has announced no plans to discontinue support for it on Battle.net. You should be able to continue playing it indefinitely.

    I know DivX can be encoded with very nice quality.

    By crappy looking DivX, I meant DivX that was encoded at poor quality settings for even smaller files. Like an mp3 with a bitrate of 32 will be crappy sounding mp3.

    The biggest in size will be video.

    Uncompressed video is rated in sizes of FUCKING HUGE. This terabyte drive wouldn't even hold all that much.

    For compression it depends on what you define as minimal loss of quality. Lossless compression still comes out to be pretty damn big (which is less than fucking huge).

    Even with crappy looking divx it still adds up and you would have a hard time getting ALL TV, movies, and whatever other video media that humanity has produced to fit in anything.

    It also depends on resolution. NTSC, PAL, etc, and of course all digital video and picture formats have set resolutions but both video and still film and all physical artwork (which I count as media) don't have pixels, so you have to decide what resolution to scan them in at.

    How do you know that there has been continuity of your self and there's not just some new personality inhabiting your head that retains all your memories and whatnot..

    If in the future you transfer your mind into a computer, do you continue or do you just create a computer that thinks it is you?

    He makes the most kickass lightsabers out of plumbing stuff from the hardware store. I remember one of them used a shower head...

    As far as I know he doesn't go out looking to sell them but when he had a few and he was showing them off someone went up to him and bought one anyway..

    Blizzard's cinematics are extremely well done and worth paying for. Movie quality. Go to Blizzard.com and download the E3 2001 Trailer. They even have the guy who does all the movie trailer voiceovers doing theirs. You'll recognize the voice.

    I don't know about the review copies but the demo had funny voices on the footmen and the grunt.

    Formations are in the game although they aren't the best.

    Shift clicking for attacks works. Don't know about Harvesting.

    The bug with sending flyers off the top of the map was fixed way back.

    Vivendi are the real bad guys.

    There are even rumors that Blizzard and the Warforge team responsible for the server letting everyone play Warcraft III came to some sort of an agreement.... I know that Blizzard has contacted them at least...

    "next idle worker button" - has been in the game for months now.

    "queue up non-movement orders" - Shift Clicking works for me.

    "units lost behind trees" - Trees go transparent whenever units are behind them.

    "off the edge of the view space" - You can't send units off the view space.

    About a year back I had reason to indulge in cracking Windows .pwl files....

    A few of the script kiddie tools I acquired would calculate how fast it would take you to crack passwords of X length...

    If I remember right, 7 character passwords took approximately for-fucking-ever (months), and even longer if you expanded the brute force to include special characters as well as A-Z and 0-9...

    Good thing the password I was trying to get was only 4 characters which takes about 10 minutes.

    Not that anyone should be using Windows Password to protect anything important anyway...

    We'd never get enforced contraception as part of the welfare system. Too much loss of civil liberties, although the welfare system as a whole is of course a loss of our liberty, but it's entitlement so it can't be done away with...

    But if I ever get Bill Gates-rich, I will start a charity that gives no-cost vasectomies or fallopian tube operations to all comers, and then gives you a $5,000 - $10,000 check...
