I bought an Alpha machine that seems to have come from Microsoft itself (has an MS serial id tag). It's CD-ROM happened to contain a cd-r (laser printed label affixed) that said MS internal test (or something) WIN2k Rc3 build #(I forget). So it exists, and it lets me use the USB ports on my alpha.
Sony wouldnt have as high numbers if they could make any electronics last. I've seen VCR, Tape, CD units all die far earlyer then other big name brands. The PSX and PSX are horribly flawed (I own them) in design, MY PSX only works at a thirty eight degree angle, and the PS2 sucks dust into the DVD/CD laser lense assembly, because they didnt think when they designed it. It's shit hardware contstruction. I've seen people who seem to have to buy a new psx yearly from it stopping reading. PS2 nearly as much of a failure rate due to poorly thouht out cooling.
Clearly IBM treats different hardware platforms differently. I have never had the troubles described in this thread getting service on RS/6000 hardware.
The audio ones have some number/code that allows set top burners (as in audio components) to recognize it's valid "audio" media. These units will reject regular data cd-r media.
So if a song is a corporate work for hire and the copyright is owned by the corporation, how do the copyright laws apply? Life plus 70 years for an immortal corporation?
PC-Engine and Turbo Duo are like the SNES and the Super Famicom. Same basic unit. Only some minor phisical incompatability on the cardslot, need an adaptor to play import games.
Vib Ribbon is not Parappa and I suspect this game is not like either of the others, gameplay wise. In Vib Ribbon you had to map button presses to shapes you were walking over, sometimes needing to hit several at a time, and keep up with the music. Parappa was mostly a memory/timing game and IMO simpler. The robotic Japanese school sytem is responsable for Cuty Honey, Dual: Parrallel Trouble Adventure, His and Her Circumstance, and Sakura wars.
The fans will cry out "It's Tradition". It could be fun, as long as it's just random stuff and nothing key to the game, then if that isnt for you you can skip it.
"Have you listened to NPR recently?? They are filled with station breaks giving acknowledgements to corporations that "sponsor" programs that predominantly contain promotional announcements. I really can't tell the difference between what they broadcast and a regular advertisement on a "commercial" radio station."
I'm sorry your local NPR affiliate sucks. Maybe you should consider moving to a better part of the US where that crap dosent go on. Where I live there are 2 kinds of underwriting credits I hear. Neither can be confused for a commercial played on the local clear channel stations no matter how hard you try. One type is an acknoldgement of a local person or business who donates to the station (they ask about your preferred shows so thay can place the underwriting message) such as "Global Village is sponsered by Mr & Ms Roberts of whateversville and listeners like you" or "Morning edition is paid for in part by donations from Angies List. With customer ratings of local businesses and services available at 236-list" The former in no way can be misinterperited as an advert (but maybe you cant understand why someone might support local radio) and the latter is a bit more like an advert, but still dosent take even 30 seconds. If people like you kill off PRI, NPR, and the BBC broadcasts the next things will go are all the awesome local shows like ante-meridiem, global village, all mixed up, and many other global or non local music shows. This kills musical and intellectual diversity IMO (trust me the midwest needs it) but hey, defund them, just dont complain once all thats left is clearchannel.
Unlike R. Vs. B. Anachronox is not new story. It is a combination of the various cutscened from the game, mixed with ingame stuff. Since it's being done by the developer some things like custom/alternate angles for some scenes compared to whats in the game. IMO a lot was left out of the "movie" that you only get by playing the game, but I enjoyed the movie so I could show people how keen it was.
Word is he is working on a full resolution DVD version since the machinima is at half rez or lower to cut down on file size.

AFAIK your Apple G5 wont run my AIX.

So the French can step in and be our salvation.

In the USA, Sams Club sells the Daewoo (does PAL to NTSC and vice versa) for $50.
Ecomstation is not dead, it's just resting. ;-P
". I wonder why they made the decision to make the American systems so big, blocky, and weirdly designed."
I think you answered your own question.

" Hey, in Britain there's such a thing as "guilty despite proven innocent". Ask anyone who's ever been falsely accused of child molesting"
Ask any Pediatrician.
I can remember when not mentioning WD was a good thing.
My SUSE Pro came with a 7 cd version and a 1 DVD version.
If you want true ultimate RSI on Vib Ribbon, try putting in Billy Idol's "Heroin".
"BSD is Dead - Dead can dance"
Wow, never expected to see them referanced in connection with DDR. Are they even still around?
GIA may be gone, but the spirit still burns at Gameforms

Your text only idea is useless one. Look up a little utility called uuencode.
Besides even written text can be KP as far as American law goes.

Those are not "accessories", they're "Battle Gear".
So life is like FFX where 1 out of every 4 people are dead, but they dont know it.
