I know a way to keep crime down. Create a massive clone army of Christopher Walken to dance on every street corner (ala Fatboy Slims weapon of choice video). Crime will cease overnight.
"Regarding the device, it's guaranteed that something very dangerous can be made to look just like it."
Would you kindly prove that statement?
It's a solderless breadboard (I have a number of them) with very little on it. The play dough was not on it, it was a lump in her hand not attached to the device in any way and had no wires to/from either item.
It was not made to look like a bomb of any kind. I challenge you to find a (home made terrorist level) high explosive stable enough to be used and hidden somewhere in the device that would do any damage.
Ecomstation has JFS and LVM out of the box. Never had a problem with my ATM or banks computers when they were OS/2. I have run into numerous BSOD screens at ATMs since everyone decided that windows was a good OS to use for them.
Reminds me of that asshat The Register wastes bytes on, Andrew Orlowski. He has a major brain malfunction (he may be able to write but it appears he can not read) and any time he can he posts some frothing hate filled screed about creative commons, the GPL or any other license/thing he thinks is contaminating his precious bodily fluids. Check out his latest articles on El Reg and you can see how blind he is to personal responsability.
I remember he also used it at a 6 or so inch setting to suprise someone who was holding him from behind. Turned it on at an angle and it went though the guys thigh.
It's nothing like that. They are so good, control wise, and since it's a duel they have enough respect for each other (as adversaries) they choose to honor the old traditions. Yah that's it.
It's tradition. Much like the Discworld has rules for the way things happen, so does the universe of Star Wars.

That's becasue the little spud was like a lovable but annoying little brother during the game up until that point, and then they spring that on you. Setting the game in a almost entirely empty place with only him as company also worked into your attachment to him.
Not knowing if Media defender has some special client that does not upload (I doubt it because they will get blocked quick) then havent they been helping to distribute the above mentioned child pornography? When is it ok to do that?
Don't forget they also were torrenting (this would mean helping to distribute) bestiality (I think illegal in a lot of the US) and child pornography, at least thats what I am reading in those e-mails.

I wonder if dual core is an issue, have you tried locking it to a single CPU?
"Despite the constant FUD since the Novell/Microsoft deal, Novell's business model now revolves around FOSS software, so any attempt to kill it would be cutting their own throat."
You only have to worry about that when the new CEO has the last name of Dibbler.
I thought stuff like that only happens when Northstar comes into contact with Aurora.

They can take my yogurt, assorted cheeses, sour cream and dough when they pry them from my cold fridge.

Too bad peplicants dont run Windows XP.
Sounds like we need real-time Google Maps tracking of Mick Jagger, just to be sure.
Some of the e-mails seem to say they are activly torrenting child pornand beastiality vids.
Overall I dont think there is much good they do.
Only slashdoters deal in absolutes.

I dont know about LCD screens, but I tend to play games at 1600x1200 (4:3 CRT). Is 1680x1050 a valid LCD native resolution?
If you can get it to come up 616 you have the true number of the beast.
If Uwe makes it about a French hacker who likes cabbages, it can be the start of a Team Zed movie series.

"In some ways, I don't think do "gaming" as well as traditional board, card, and RPGs (though it depends on what you're looking for...)"
Have you tried the Culdcept style games?
For the way I have seen many people play D&D over the last 30 years, I would say Diablo style games capture that method of roleplaying.
Check out a film called Undead (I think it was a 2005 release). While not the best film ever, it at least has some thought put into it.
I think they added USB support when they released Openserver 6.

Along with uploading said illegal content, or do they not upload while they torrent the child porn they talk about in those mails.

The last thing we need to see is Chupathingy porn.
