Most people know text zoom and it is indeed a very handy feature...
But when using Bookmarklets in Mozilla, you can have all sorts of handy functions just one mouse-click away on your personal toolbar!
The most usefull bookmarklet in my opinion is 'zoom image in. As I work with a big resolution for graphical work, lot's of things tend to get renderd rather small when browsing. It's understandable, but still an anoyance. So when I discovered Image zoom I was, as you can imagine, absolutely delighted!
And since Mozilla 1.1b, Mozilla has REALLY speeded up and is wonderfull to use.
And as for Mozilla's GUI; If you want integration you should use Galeon on Linux and K-Meleon on Windows. They are actually intended for end-user usage, Mozilla is just for test purposes!
Quote from article: The project is being run by the top-secret Phantom Works in Seattle
Ok, let's clear a few terms:
Phantom - A unseen spirit
Work - Doing stuf
So what conclusions can we make with this info?
(1) Phantoms are mostly only annoying and some people think that is what they are here for (eg. their work) So then Phantom Works is for those anoying projects that some bigshot manager at Boeing came up with this *dumb* project....
OR
(2) Boeing might just be a pawn in an intelligence agency (think MIIIB here) who naturally have been tracking this project for a long time and realise it's potencial! And because they don't want to let other agencies in on this, they search for a way too invest money into it and what better than a aeroplane maker?
PS. (Of course if this get's modded down this means that the intelligence agency is watching/. and that nr.2 is true. But if it get's modded up it's because the intelligent/. readers (no this isn't an oxymoron) realise the truth that 2 is true!;)
The asteroid is said to hit the earth in New Mexico...(and yes the rest of the world wil be overjoyed at finding such an easy way of gettin' rid of the US:P No Offence Intended of course;)
But do you remember what happend last time when a big asteroid hit earth?
"SkoleLinux" ( = SchoolLinux ) is a project with volunteers making a distribution for schools in Norway. It is based on the Debian platform, and the developers have translated documentation and more than 300 programms to Norwegian. All this is put together in the distro they've called "SkoleLinux"
The idea is to replace Microsoft Windows and Office in Norwegian schools
In the last 15 years alone, software defects have [..] destroyed a Mars mission [..]
The Funny thing is that it wasn't the software, it was a stupid *American* at NASA that calculated the path in Feet instead of Meters which, if you didn't know, is the international space measurement.
And then again, why does software suck? It's made by humans!
As you can see Debian didn't always have the 2 year stable waiting problem.... The First 1.x Stable releases where half a year away from each other... That could however be explained by the fact that then there where only 474 (1.1) - 974 (1.3) packages when today there are over 2500 packages....
Actually I - then a 13 (!) year old kid - bought
SuSE 6.3 and it does
> good HD partioning shceme, dual booting OS, and

And got Linux working in 2 hours!!!!!!!
Not surprising, I know, but let me fill you in on the Europian (or at least Dutch) situation:
In Holland we have LAN parties about every weekend! (Check http://www.lan-party.be/calendar.php if you don't believe me..)
And we've been having these large number of parties for a couple of years now.... Funny seeing the USA catching up on technology related matters...
And in Europe we have Redbull (www.redbull.com) which is also a high-caffianated drink and is the main drink for LAN-Parties here...

Ehm, "Dutch National Railroad" ?
This must all be so complicated for everyone...you're the 3rd or 4th whose made the mistake allready!
PS. It's the German (As in from Germany) Railroad suing a Dutch (As is from the Netherlands) Company...
PS.II Yes I am actually from the Netherlands myself...

In MO you can never test too much...although it is advisable to actually run user enviroment test in addition to debug test.

Wouldn't it be funny if someone invented the voice commanded computer.......
Oh wait....Someone has.....no need for keyboards! DOH!
Anyone noticed that Timothy says: "Since they'll also be including a 2.2 kernel in parallel"
I'm 14 and I'm mature enough to do it. I can't speak for all 14 year olds....
