It's Thursday, so we like video games -> we like Blizzard. But it's February, so this is not funny. And the day of the week is even, so we're supposed to not bash Sony and Blizzard. But it was posted AFTER dark, so it's ok to laugh.
Not the internet in itself, just the applications on top of it (IM, e-mail, websites).
An example of this is the organisation of a Highschool-pupil strike in Holland. (Yes, striking in puberty..:) ) The whole project was set up by 3 - 5 people in about 5 days time. It swept the media too, which helpt, but they're main source of communication was e-mail.
On the date of the strike, schools where empty and there was a great big mob of youngsters in The Hague (where the goverment sits).
Just look at their gopher-era homepage [xfree86.org] to get an impression about their professionality. Yeah, I know, HTML 2.0 should have been the end of web technology, [..]
From the XFree86 webpage:
DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD
XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transition al.dtd
But anyway I do agree, the webpage design is horrible, but it's the program that matters, not the webpage.
The one thing I can't get is the 'XFree is the most supported, so we use it' vibe. I mean, this is OSS so we should just be able to create a new system from the ground up and 'port' all the drivers Xfree has, right?
[..] So does this mean cheap Elvis or a diluted pool of products?"
Well, both actually. There will be junk albums with 1950 hits & lot's of junk to fill up, but also there'll be good cheap Elvis albums too.
But it said Europian rights were expiaring...Does this mean that you can only sell this music in Europe? Or only music recorded in Europe? Anyone know how this works?
Dude, deja vu's CAN be true..for instance, I can actually wander off in my thoughts and *dream* of a situation, that last a few seconds and then I ehm, return to the present. I remember what happend, what was spoken and who were there (besides myself).
And then a (few) month(s) later I find myself in the exact same situation, with the same people and the same words being spoken.
But you're words: That's the problem with "memory" - it's subject to revision and addition along the way, just like "history"...
You can laugh at this joke!
Here's why:

Easy enough when u get you're head around it.
Kitchen sink anyone?
He followed this
He might just didn't get the joke.
What did you want?
KDE *without* Gnome co-operate?

I mean, next-generation secure computing base, doesn't the new name just roll of you're tong like butter?
Don't forget:
7. Microsoft says: "Houston we have a problem."
Whatever you do, don't send Arnie over as a (republican) goodwill ambassador...
They didn't, they sent James Bond.
[..] wiring all the pyramids with net access [..]
You want to wire the piramids with wireless acces?
So _that's_ what all those leftover glasfiber is going to!

That's not me...that's cjb.net
I have pop-ups blocked so I don't see them...hmm must see if there isn't some other free subdomain address somewhere else...
Sorry 'bout that....
If anyone wanted to make this web site, I'd provide free hosting for it!
Cool! You know what, I'll do the web design for free!
(Again, only id it's TOTALLY FREE for everyone to use...)
Don't worry, I'm a good XHTML, anti-flash designer/coder (and make my websites ultra small & lite)
either that or a complete genius code writer.
Can't be that...he's name isn't even Neo!
Note that Prentice Hall PTR is the technical book, not text book division.
Yeah! And we all know that technical books don't weigh anything, right?
Oh, ehm, hang on...
It's a BUG
Of course not! It's a feature!

Or am I missing something?
New here, aren't you?
Trying to sound not so new here, are you?

My portable music player, My PDA and My desktop
You work for Microsoft don't you?
deja vu also seems VERY real to people.

Are still quite correct most of the time.
they're just not. Ask my biology teacher :P
They're called twins!
Nope. Allthough twins look alike, geneticly they're not.
