    BMI is a very flawed way of measuring a person's physical health and only works on a small group of people who aren't very tall nor short, and aren't very muscular. Body fat percentage would give a better hint.

    Well, Sudan has oil, to the tune of some 210,000 barrels per day of real production during 2001. I'm sure it is slightly higher now.

    However, they are not very receptive to involvement of oil and gas companies, or any other companies from the west. For example, when we procure network equipments for a major oil and gas company to be used in joint venture operations in Sudan, they would not accept anything from US or Israel unless there is absolutely no alternative to be found.

    That is pure urban legend, and quite a common one too. Read up this link for more info. The number of dead is approximately 60 billion, while the total population right now is around 7+

    everytime I added some newly ripped mp3s from other programs I just use the add folder option. iTune will only scan for the new songs and add them to the library without any duplicates. 30 songs only took about a minute here on a 2.2 ghz system.

    I mainly use iTunes because winamp does not want to behave like a conventional windowed application where I can just maximized the whole thing.

    He is the man behind 2 of the most successful companies, Maxis mobile (largest mobile service provider), and Astro (the only satellite TV provider).

    There's already an unlimited wireless "broadband" over cellular network right here in Malaysia, granted they are using EDGE (Enhanced Data rates for Global Evolution) instead of 3G. The data rate is about triple that of GPRS. It goes for RM99, which works out to be around US$26 per month.

    This would probably just give those people in the theaters an excuse to use their phone.. "hey I'm not talking out loud"

    I can't even stand people using their SMS in the theater. Stupid LCDs are really bright in the dark theater setting.

    Then again, I could care less if you tug your phone in ur pocket and use one of these.

    Mandarin has 4 tones, and so is Cantonese. I speak both of them, in addition to English, Malay, and Hokkien (another Chinese dialect with 4 tones as well).

    It is always amusing to listen to a Westerner trying to speak toner language and unable to grasp it. It is believed that you would not be able to learn to differentiate the tones if you have not been exposed to them prior to the tender age of 2-3. The Language Instinct by Steven Pinker is an excellent read.
