Actually at the bottom of every article are downloads for a LOT of other platforms. Read the tutorial on the web, then look at the code for your platform, should be plenty of comments.
I'll tell you why noone wants to watch English dubbed anime -- because it is crap.
Surely I'm not the only person who has noticed how dull and lifeless the voice actors usually are in English dubs. It seems they try to time their words to fit the mouth movements of the characters, making the speech sound very unnatural. They also have no emotion. It could be that the English actors dont care, maybe it is "just a cartoon" to them.
I watch a lot of anime. Always in Japanese with English subs. Which brings me to the next point - why do foreign movies have to be dubbed? Few things annoy me more than people who will not watch a movie simply because they "have to read" it.
I felt compelled to follow that link to amazon, due to the mention of Claudia Black... What follows is a quote from this It Will Never Happen to Me by Claudia Black...
I remember, as a boy, coming home from school and seeing either the living room or the dining room furniture thrown out in the driveway...
Hrmm. I got a bit worried there, but it turns out that:
1) That quoted bit was not actually by Claudia Black, but a quote from some bloke. ie: Aeryn Sun is not really a man. (phew) 2) This Claudia Black is not the Farscape Claudia Black, and all this confusion was unfounded.
So it's ok, I can return to the refuge of my fantasies.
... with the screenshot tour. It is only a tour of anaconda and gnome. Anaconda I've seen often enough on other distros. Gnome is in every (desktop) distro.
It seems that the only thing new distros give you these days is a new desktop theme...
As a distro, LFS probably isn't what most people want. If you want to compile from source, then gentoo is probably the way to go.
On the other hand, I dont think there is a better way than LFS for learning Linux and what all the different packages are for. It is a good way for linux newbs (but probably not computer n00bs) to learn about their new OS. Once that's done, head over to an easier-to-maintain distro such as debian.
That animated topic icon sent me through a rollercoaster of emotions:
1. I was scared - been playing Doom3 all day, I'm a bit jumpy 2. Denial - I thought I imagined it 3. Relief - I'm not crazy 4. Disgust - I just wasted a few minutes of my life describing an emotional journey spawned by a few moving pixels on/.
Isn't Nov 17 the time of the year when we pass through the Leonid meteor shower? They launched on the 14th and landed on the moon on the 19th, so that means they were out there in time to fly through the debris...
Might not be exactly what you are looking for, but there does seem to be a fairly strong correlation between stupid^H^H^H^H^H^Hpeople with low intelligence and their choice for president.

I learned the same way :)
Perhaps he meant to say Dyslexic?
Well as another poster in the above thread pointed out, that's incorrect.
To be "caught", you'd want low relative velocity to Mercury, surely.
And just because you missed it, I'll repost oneTheory's link: http://messenger.jhuapl.edu/the_mission/gravity.html
Or... photons...
I don't know about you, but I've never overheard an intelligent conversation on the train anyway...
With a name like 'Whitney Butts' you just know thats a guy!
* Xetrov pulls out his Wizard Robe and Hat
(and i'm pretty poor, so that would be a big bet for me).
Perhaps you should've kept your job there?
Yeah... Or not.
I bet you watched Independance Day and didn't have any problem with it.
Oh God!
You guys haven't even gone through Y2K yet!
You should look forward to all students suddenly aging 100 years...
heh, 'Apple Open Source'...
I can't even get in the front door.

That sounds more like the old guy from Boondock Saints: "Why dont you make like a tree, AND GET THE FOCK OUT"
Hopefully this turns out to be better than Metacritic. Once google expands to other media such as books and games, metacritic will be in trouble.
However, I found the scores from metacritic did not reflect how I would score it at all. Then again, reviews seldom do.
It's probably better than Australian broadband...

Boooooring.
Is it really too much to ask for timothy et al to actually proofread everything before they post it?
Both.
Because they are the same thing...

I'd send them a virus ;)

Wasn't that a bit dangerous?
Thermal imaging from satellites?
I found this table very interesting.
