    I don't know if it would be worth the trouble .. the "bang" achieved in the 2001-WTC attacs was not from anything more complicated than jetfuel. Getting hold of a few thousand airborne gallons of the stuff is the tricky part, I suppose. No fingerprints or mugshots will determine peoples intentions of doing the trick ..

    Would the weight of a nuclear warhead in heoin buy you a locally produced warhead? Going nuclear might be totally over the top for any terrorist organization. 4 backpacks with a few kilos of simple dynamite did the trick quite "well" in Spain a few weeks back. No, nuclear is a superpower weapon. Not usable to anybody else (I hope)

    Weapons of mass destruction .. well, fanatics with dynamite strapped around their bodies are far worse in my book, but ofcourse, I'm just "little people"..

    How many unknown terrorists slip into the country?

    How many misleaded, gullible, impressionable, young Americans are already IN the country?

    Actually, the easiest way to get a bomb into the US of A is NOT to smuggle it at all. All the parts you need to make a bomb can be gotten hold of locally.

    Just ask the the guy with the heorin shipment, I'm quite sure that he knows people with access to explosives..

    Besides ofcourse giving me another ip address when the router restarts and the dhcp server is requesting again, with the new MAC address ...

    All in all I have done nothing, from the view of the ISP, because they still know it's really me in the other end, because of the cable-modem's MAC address ..

    But I do get the new ip address, fragmenting the data for anybody collecting ip addresses to file relations ..

    ah, well, just crazy thoughts anyway ..

    a big screen and a resolusion that makes it possible to see several pages of syntax highlighted code .. sit back and you sort of have the visual design of your program .. .. a good way to get the overview of a good chunk of code in one go ..

    sort of like the "blonde, brunette, redhead" line from The Matrix

    Buying a pair of Sony EX70PL headphones. That will mask the fact that you have an iPod as well as keep noice out. It is actually possible to use theese ones on commercial airlines, without upping the volume to unreasonable levels. Perfect for that private space!

    When and if I dish out the equivalent of $400 + 25% in danish taxes, I woun't even unpack the white clique accepted headset supplied by apple..

    I am not on my own whitelist for this very reason.

    The whitelist of friends, everything else is scanned manually, works well enough for me.

    ..there is a test of a 100Mbit consumer network in Denmark right now .. I seem to remember that the Korean consumers have 1Gbit direct backbone access .. so the danish test case is not unique ..

    Bandwidths are going up fast, and people that really don't use the net that much, still pays between 6 and 12 euros a month to share a quite good bandwith with the rest of the people in the building. A private, 2Mbit ADSL line will run 100 euros.

    2007? .. I would expect more than 10Mbit .. I would also expect DivX file sizes to be quite a bit bigger than they are today.

    The European Union and Europe are just as different as The USA and the America spanning from Peru to Canada

    but anyway, The US of A, fights or funds wars a long way away from, it's citizens. THAT's whats frightens me.

    IF the Islamic world decides to run amok or some nutcase decides to use nuclear devices, citizens of the EC will pay the price..

    At the moment the American state succeeds quite well in terrorizing it's own citizens.

    I am quite sure that this will brand me as anti-US, because that's just the way a witch hunt works..

    The world is not black and white, with or against you. In some ways, the US-system is really fucked up (It has you running scared while blaming people living in a shithole on the other side of the world, people that are portraied by the media as not being able to install proper plumming and what have you .. )
