    Ahh, now I see. According to msn, the magazine of record, an unknown amount of radiation will make Ann unknown amount of nitrous, which is n2o btw. Depending o nthe quantity and concentration, this may cause ozone holes and global warming (it is a GHG) to an unknown degree. But the thought that it would literally suck all the oxygen out of the room is a silly thought. May I suggest not using google so much, as you encourage me to, but use your head sometimes? Also, the question still stands, about whT if you're on the dark side of the earth.

    This olpc announcement is minor Walmart news for today. The big news is, they'll be selling iPhone 5 for their straight talk wireless, $45 prepaid unlimited. The phone is $650, but they have interest free financing at $25 per month. Petty sweet, no? Starts Friday. That's what I call big news!

    And even if there were no international interactions, the metric system is far easier to understand and use. Clinging to the more difficult and arcane is pointless.

    so what? what do you care if somebody in minnesota wants to use us customary units, because they prefer it? do you think they should be made to use a different unit, because they are being difficult and arcane? you see what I'm getting at here... it's one thing to agree that metrics are more sensible, but its another thing to force change on people when it doesn't benefit them. The US is all about self determination!

    So... US should overhaul its customs and culture to make it more convenient and cheaper for foreigners... Yeah no... That's not the way it works here. I think you've been spoiled by the Brussels / eu super sovereign system. Nobody tells us what to do.

    yes but... it makes sense for certain companies or sectors to standardize around a common language / measurement system. But I dont understand the notion that the entire US *should* be metric, or further, that the US gov't *should* force the US citizens to go metric. Before somebody accuses me of a straw man argument - this is exactly what the summary is describing.

    a legitimate question that is never asked - why should the US go metric? Who cares if somebody buys a pint of liquor or drives 65 mph? What problems are caused by imperial units?

    I'm calling you out on your bs. I've seen battery life take a hit because of intensive computing, but never because of full ram. I guarantee that you're not doing intensive computing on more than one app at a time. They are almost all running idle. So it's time to stop blaming others and look in the mirror. As suggested below,mwhy not get a battery pack? Then maybe you'll stop whining

    The MagSafe connector for MacBooks is proprietary and apple doesn't allow anybody else to make them. So it's not a surprise thAt they would do the same on the iPhone.

    meh. it sounds like a fishing expidition to me. make a whole lot of noise, waive your arms around. try anything to invalidate a case that you lost. i dont blame samsung's lawyers, because if they cant turn this shite around then their reputation is toast, but its not fair to the foreman whose name is getting dragged through the mud.

  25. since osx is the linux kernal, using a mac is already using unix. why run unix within unix? the best retinal display machine is a mac anyway.
