Actually, it's difficult to rescind your US citizenship, and if the US State Department gets the idea you're doing it to avoid taxes, you may get blacklisted from entering the US. Check out the State Department site for more details.

You could setup distcc on the target machine, and have it farm out compilations to the big, fast, cross-compiling development machine. GCC can spit out ARM stuff while running on an x86.
I hope you're not serious about the McDonalds thing. Honestly, if you're that paranoid about spit in your food, you should avoid *all* food you don't prepare yourself. It's not just McDonalds, it's not just spit, and it's not always malicious, either. It happens.
Based on my experiences with winex, not fcking likely. I suppose if you bought games you knew worked with winex, you'd be happy. Picking games you like, and trying to get them to work with winex is another problem altogether.
Of course, I haven't tried this grape thing yet, but I have a month left on my Transgaming membership. Maybe I will be bitchslapped by reality, but I am low on optimism....
Whoa! Slippage! Brief moment of confusion with RMS, maybe????

Review: KDE 3.2

I'm using a release candidate of 3.2, so naturally I kept 3.1.whatever handy in case 3.2 didn't work out. Hah! I *tried* to go back to 3.1, and just hated it (I had loved it before trying 3.2).
So far, tabbed browsing in konq and kwallet are my favorite features, but I haven't had much time to dig around looking for KDE easter eggs. I'll bet there's more neat stuff in there!
Telling time via an old-fashioned analog clockface is probably not the prized skill it was in your day, Abe Simpson. Why would that be pathetic? Gonna rag on them for not knowing how to use a dial telephone, too?
The first MySQL joke I've ever seen! You win.

Say, genius, how can you verify what someone says they're going to do?
Silly dave240. Don't you realize, these people can't even *see* the words "Well-regulated Militia"?

Oh, and I'm a gentoo user.
I just had the most nauseating "Planetfall" flashback.... Thanks!
invidious
Thanks for the new (to me) word!
Roman numerals?
Hey, that's really deep. Maybe you should get together with this guy.
No, ranchers have been contributing to the destruction of the environment for a long time. Agribusiness is incompatible with environmental health.
Google for "masturbation". It may answer your questions.

Hey! Let's just crosspost everything from OSNews, and like, not even change the titles much. Oh, wait!!! It's been done! Nevermind.
*You* really read Slashdot?
Thank you for your services as Smackdown Masta.
Did I forget anything?
Yeah, but I read somewhere that's it's dying....
Uh, hello? It's a *technical* article, not an application count....
I know that when I think "XFree86" and "porn," the next thing I think of is Slashdot! Not that this happens frequently. OK, it does. Never mind.
Word. Just *seeing* the book depresses me, now.

OK, I can usually pass these by, but....
The thought of a voltage regulator *literally* poping just grabs me. I can hear the heavenly choir from here!
