It was working for us (the gnome people who aren't at guadec) all day yesterday and this morning, so I would say that yes, these problems are due to the/.ing
They're not goggles, its a hand held night scope, the sort that you would fit to a rifle. They're fun, but they'll not stop any piracy. I'm pretty sure there's a bittorrent out there already, I know there is for The Day After Tomorrow and that only opened this weekend too.
I don't think they're trying to stop the widescale pirates, what they're trying to stop is someone taping the film so that they can watch it again at home, without having to either: go back to the cinema, or wait 5 months for the DVD.
If the WMD only existed in Saddam's mind, then the army officer wouldn't have needed to get his base cleaned up, because there would have been nothing there for the inspectors to find anyway.
And from what I remember about that phone call, people who know Iraq and the language and culture said that it used so many turns of phrases that Iraqi's wouldn't use that it was probably faked.
Most of the indie bands make most of their money touring anyways.
Possibly only because they then end up doing 4 month tours, which is a killer for pretty much anyone. Mogwai have reportedly lost a lot of personal money because of tours which just haven't made enough money, and they would be a fairly major "indie" band.
the ctrl-shift-w is listed in the menu beside "Close all parent windows", and the middle click is just the same as a left click, that once informed about, shouldn't be too hard to remember.
Including the word fuck censored for an MTV friendly single.
But but but, that would have meant an editor had to actually....edit!

Unfortunatly it comes complete with Owen "my nose is funny and I've got a large pole up my ass" Wilson.

they don't.
GStreamer isn't tied to GNOME/GTK. The only thing it uses is GLib.
There are already at least 2 KDE applications using GStreamer - Juk and Amorak.
"there are literally hundreds of them to choose from."
I think in this case, literally millions wouldn't be an exageration.
And then getting drunk cos once again the penalties send them out.
Hate to be pedantic, but its actually Grand Royal, not Grand Royale.

Nat was only a summer intern at the time, they didn't fire him, summer ended.
In my church, singing off key is the main requirement for joining the choir.
Justin Timerblake, Shaq - when people of this ilk use iPods you know Apple has hit the mainstream market.
Or gave away a few freebies to a select group of cool kids, who would in turn create the hype that the iPod was the "cool" thing to have.

Alt-left click moves the window for me in gnome
alt-middle click lets you resize it
alt-right click brings up the window menu.
This is using the metacity that comes with gnome 2.6
