    it was considered? Unless you were at a university on their lines running network cards, I severely doubt your 2400 baud or even mindblowing 14.4kbps could handle 5 megs. Even the solid type storage formats couldn't handle much more thna a meg. considered. hmph. (walks away muttering old men phrases)

    haha, but seriously.. if they can see the main tank (orangish red) out their windows, they have some serious problems. Unless they installed a glass-bottom. hmm.. glass-bottom shuttle. Not a bad idea. now we just need spacemermaids.

    Which keeps them from supporting internal advances in quality ink. What I will pay for is sun resistant ink with a shelf life of at least a 100 years. And I want it cheap. Enough of this disposable "they will pay and pay" model.

    I would have LOVVVVVVED to see them prep that baby.. most of you probably have not fished for catfish, which means that you have not had the pleasure of cutting of it's head before you de-bone it (oh man, even that would be a task).. but I will fill you in since you are without experience. When you cut off a catfishes head, they talk (catfish, not english) for a few seconds to minutes afterwards. We used to cut off as many as possible at once and throw the heads in a pile to have a very haunting chorus. Don't believe me? Try it.

    I can't seem to find a party that is void of illogical worries and stand-points. I still hear 'freedom-fries' all the time here in militant San Diego. Next thing you know, we'll be renaming the oil-industry to "freedom energy" to spite those darned French.

    I regret even thinking this.. but I can hear the thoughts of all the Republicans murmuring about how it is smarter to wait for the French to go through the first mistakes so 'we' can profit from your experienced knowledge. That, and there's more money in using up the equipment and reserves for the petroleum industry before jumping ship to the 'next big thing.'

    I don't agree with these thoughts.. but I can hear them.

    Not to be stickler, but in those days(tm), water was not the safest form of drinking liquid, but wine was. And it was considerably weaker. So while it may be true that they drank alcohol, the reasons temerence is called for by modern churches is not because Christ was all health-nut like.. but because it was told that taking care of the temple of God (the body) was nearly the most important task. Temperance came into play when Wine and Alc started getting much stronger and not necessary as water sources and purification increased.

    And I drink a LOT, nor do I attend church.

    That won't work very well for graphic artists.. you can pretty well select a pixel across the screen from your starting point immediately with a mouse. With your eye, you would have to zoom in. Keyboards will never hack it, unless you have a touch pad or a .. duhn duhn duhnDUHN! .. a mouse built into it.

    Unfortunately, this specific *type* of working around the legal route to justice will only stengthen the tactics/creativity used by "bad guys"(c). It's introducing the darwin effect, and will only kill off the stupid for s short time.. until they learn they much up the anty. In time that will only make it harder to detect the scams. While its cool in the short run, it's only helping the bad guys evolve.

    kinda cool though.

    I believe it. It seems we are (sigh) again repeating history. After large battles we temporarily go into short periods of extreme isolationism of one sort or another. This seems to be one of those knee-jerk reactions. Think about when the buy American stuff started (which war was it again? umm, WWII perhaps?). And which cars do we hate the most? (other than Ford, I mean) Oh thats right.. the cars built by our greater adversaries. Ignoring good technology to punish others or to feel self righteous is only self defeating and limits your possible options. This, too, shall pass.

    incidentally.. you should know that America's finances during it's inception were secured thanks to a lotto. That, and extreme trust in the value of the newly printed money. (they gave up relying on english monies for various reasons, including taxation and govt control) Lottos are the very reason gambling is next to legal in most states these days. It's very profitable, and it WILL ensure the survival of this company if they can secure the safety in technology and insurance. Watch.
