Yep. The core dev team for Goldeneye and Perfect Dark left and went on the make Free Radical Games. Then lead project designer from those games left Rare and started up Zoonami Games. Only Free Radical have published anything yet. Apparently Zoonami is as careful as Rare when they publish anything.
Just make sure you get the japanese import of mr driller. The US game had its single cart multiplayer mode locked, so all players must own the game. Not to mention that the US version completely lacked a single player mode that is available in japan.
Also, ATI cards don't offer stretched multi-monitor support, meaning, you can't play Half-Life across 2 screens. This is not the case with Nvidia cards.
Revolution won't be backward compatible with the GCN. Nintendo wouldn't be that stupid. GCNs are so cheap as it is ($20 more than a GBA retail) wiht prices only set to fall, Nintendo would only be shooting themselves and their developers in the foot by stunting development through backwards compatibility. View how long it took to get any real power out of PS2 - at least a year after launch. PS2 intially sold on hype and DVD compatiblitity. It was quite a while before good games came out to justify purchasing a PS2. GCN sold on great game salone, with one of it's launch titles still being one the most popular games for the system (Smash Bros).
Revolution won't be compatible with GCN games but a successor to GBA could be. I believe this is what Miyamoto meant when he would like to see the GCN's life cycle last 10 years. Ninendo simply releases a full on portable GCN much like the PSP. GCP. Only GCP has had support already for 5 years (when it gets released) and has developers that know the hardware inside and out. Thats not just innovative, its fscking genius.
If I'm wrong its because Revolution will have failed to garner enough 3rd party support. But it will and I won't be.
It seems to me that PS2's inclusion of backward compatibility was important to some people because it was there. It was simply a bullet point in their minds of a feature that the other consoles lacked. It had nothing to do with if it was useful or not.
We could mine asteroids and the moon for fuels like hydrogen and methane, and whatever else comes with a massive object that floats around the solar system. The moon would be a little trickier.
You'd have to drill straight to the center of it to reach anything usefull - but hey, once you empty out the inside of the moon we could move in to it and have the worlds most outrageous disco.
I got the "mine the moon" idear from Stephen Baxter. He wrote a thesis on the topic.
Why would anyone want to speak in disfavor douth de mega-corps? The parking lot asphault giveth a warm feeling to thou footsies, all warm and piggily like. While it may be true that my neighborhood does not need 2 2 o 3 gas stations at one intersection, I top off my tank will good ole Blue Planet gasoline.
But the reality is that borders between countries don't exist. I prefer the dymaxion mode of thought: the one world island model, or the "space-ship earth" model. On a spaceship, no one is alone. This has always been the case on this planet but the internet demonstrates this very effectively.
If I erode the ozone it affects everyone. If a "country" censors what goes in and out of that region, everyone trying to interact with that area is affected.
In a world where the human population has settled or changed 80% of the earth's surface, no one is alone, for better or worse.
"At approximately 250 grams, the SV-PT1 SD media storage unit is compact and lightweight. Its 5 GB PC-card-type removable hard disk and SD memory card slot can store approximately 5,000 digital still pictures.2 With one battery recharge sufficient for up to 10 transfers of data from a 512 MB SD memory card, it allows the user to store images exceeding the capacity of a SD memory card without having to use a computer. A video output terminal connects the SV-PT1 to a TV set, letting the user view stored images when selecting images to save."
Still seems fucked up. "Play the game and have it your way" seems to be the core of your post. I think the game is jacked (like my clever word usage?). Big company's are out for a profit, at any cost. But in actuality all it takes to live and excell as a society is cooperation. Just because it all works one way now doesn't mean it's immune to change. So fuck this manipulation and degradation of life.
Why the hell can't people be content with balance? Or a blowjob. I mean, money can't THAT gratifying. Maybe if their wasn't so much power derived from it...
We can do this by first creating a laser beam of intense power and portablize it. Then behind the source of the beam you place a gravitaional object so imense energy of the laser is attracted back after it escapes about 4 ft away.
Yes indeed, what will happen then? Will the communication be so chaotic that it will be immeasurable, or perhaps it will be so deeply ingrained in the environment that thought police (you know, "them") will have no trouble spying.
It's an update to the classic "Scorched Earth" type of gameplay. Can get slow though - each player takes their turn in order. But still it's a great game and has no violence.

The Gamecube is the realization of the research that went into the 64DD, not Triforce. Triforce is just an arcade board that uses GCN components and hooks up to the Gameboy Advance.
ROFL like a sonofabitch.
Mod parent up.

Umm, no.

I agree. You still need a full sized PS2 to use a HD loader as well, something the pstwo doesn't allow.

While those companies might be in bed with 2 comanies (IBM, ATI), it doesn't mean they're helping manufacture 2 consoles...

Is it not compatible or simply not supported? It would be such a pain to have to migrate from Windows ME in order to use Office 12...

A good argument in theory....

Maybe you used an earlier version. 7.0 is the most versatile yet.
Off the press release:

No word of MP3 playback, but still interesting.
Gamecube is $one-fifty. But I think we can expect another price drop, esp. as xmas creeps up and (if) the number of xboxs sold doesn't.

dude lighten up - he was kidding. In anycase, he's right - DVD pr0n is nothing compared to something of this magnitude.
yeah, and then we'll beowulf those!
*thud*
Oh wow, I just fainted

I recommend:
Worms World Party (or Worms Armegeddon)
It's an update to the classic "Scorched Earth" type of gameplay. Can get slow though - each player takes their turn in order. But still it's a great game and has no violence.
Oh my God you guys are such nerds.
