not for me, I love to drive and will want to take the car to the track as well. I enjoy driving and being in control. Sometimes I like to go faster than I should. My drive to work the last 4 jobs has been less than 5 miles so I really do not need that self driving thing.
If I were to travel to Mexico I might want it but I think there others might try to hit a tesla to mug you and steal your car! LOL
Well where does that nuclear energy come from? Does the nuclear plant errich fuel as well or is that done in some third world country where lives do not matter? Then what do you do with the spent nuclear fuel?
us Joe's run MAC OS X and chromebooks...Windows died with XP and when there were 2 billion Android phones and tablets and the backup is the iPad and iPhone at 1 billion...
VMware got the hypervisor and Docker got the containers, not much left for Microsoft, just little scraps and old dudes running mainframe apps...
Wouldn't it be a kick in the pants if they show how well the iPad/iPad Pro have sold since 2015 compared to the experiment at Microsoft called Surface. Let that sink in and the stock holders figure out where that 50billion in R&D went.... LOL
For being so good at making business decisions in the 80's and 90's it shure look like Microsoft can't make something without wrecking it.
I have not seen any surface devices, lots of Mac's and iPads. Your mileage may vary. This is the same company that blew close to 22 billion on Nokia, $2 billion on Kin phone and is finding that they have to give 12 months of Cloud/Clown services to get users hooked on the subscription. All those corporate enterprise licenses get counted as clown sales even if the end users are banned from storing company documents in the clown.
Sometimes we only get the statistics that skew the appearance of a subject.
Heck I bet during the Ford Pinto years there were tons of propaganda on how great the car was, how well it was selling and how safe it was...
yep, my dad runs a mac, my mother-in-law a mac and the kids want mac computers, iphones and ipads. What is this world coming to, we all need the return of the great Mainframe, as400, S390 or VAXen!
the old mainframe guys can be cool, I swear, just give them another chance. we will have an as400 running on our phone in no time!
your going to need another CAL for that, just don't get audited... RDP sucks so I am sure this will be worse. VMware PCoIP and Blast would work but MS will not license that. HP RGS would work too, but MS will not license that either. The queen says "Let them eat cake" and we accept this as good.
It is all the same, the manager starves the puppies and wonders why bad things happen. All businesses are so focused on costs that they ignore the quality products that are clearly better. It is called the drive to the bottom...
Good managers manage and let the technical details get worked out buy the techies. they might ask for details but the bigger goal is to get to a destination, don't micro-manage your techies, they will hate the job/supervisor and find another job...
Windows is on the desktop... Moving to Samba 4.8 and 4.9, no need for MS file and print servers anymore. NASes are going to move that way too or already have.:-)
No this is only for MS to manage Azure. they should have not doubled down on Windows and just switched Azure to run Linux... If coke on the third floor had to buy coke from the fourth floor they might just put Pepsi in the machines... Microsoft should have been broken up. I bet the OS guys would run MySQL and the MS-SQL guys would run Linux...
Meanwhile when I asked the old GTE about upgrading the GTD-5 switch to support ISDN-BRI they said they could not it was too expensive as the fourth floor would not allow the third floor to use the software that they were responsible for. Also they had GSA contracts to sell that software and could not sell or use it without a Purchase Order. Very stupid and you see where GTE is today....
Next the MS sex-bot that has no holes and is adverse to sex. LOL no dilly bar and no roast beef. Not sure what the sex bot will do... But it is a new segment and they are panning on world domination!
The Italian Gambino family had a well organized system of protecting businesses in New York. They missed out on getting the suburban dwellers to subscribe to the insurance plans they had and where are they now... The good old days just do not last.
Maybe Microsoft should team up with organized crime and sell services, you know, protection from those hoodlums braking your windows at night...
I agree, I hate Walmart. Every time someone partners with Microsoft they end up getting the short end of the shaft. Nokia was a 22 billion experiment and resulted in nothing. I am sure hackers are going to love poking both of these old dinosaurs at will.
I want to be the "Windmill Cutter" that takes those down with some kind of cutting device and explosives! Like the old guy "Red Adair" was to Oil well fires...
Yes and the automobile needs to be about the same price, not a $150k tesla. I drive 10,000 miles a year. I waste $2,500 a year in gasoline. If electricity were free I could pay $5,000 more on a 2 year lease and break even. a lease on a $150k tesla is not economical.
Tesla cars should get nailed with a gas guzzler tax, any car that does a 10 second 1/4 mile is a drag racing and gas guzzling pig.
It has been said tesla is the experimental company that makes fancy electric golf carts... for the rich.
yep, 2,000 lb surface computer that you have to pull behind a car. This will help Microsoft some day know how people drive so they can make Surface Car 1.0 connect to the Surface 2 Axle trailer... And no it will not make phone calls and will only run Metro 128 apps from the app store. Old school lead acid batteries as Elon Musk wants too much for his batteries. No it will not charge when pulling that is an add-on for the Pro Surface 2 Axle trailer. Surface Enterprise 2 Axle trailer will come with break lights and electro mechanical wheel brakes!
LOL, you have never used a thin client... If you have it was a crappy RDP session to a Windows server managed by monkeys. Load balancing, session balancing based on CPU and RAM are required for RDP farms. For video playback of users that need workstation graphics, HP RGS and VMware PCoIP rock with a gig connection.
You think I am crazy, well guess what Microsoft wants users to use at home... RDP to all the excess RAM and CPU they have in the Cloun. I hope google or amazon can beat them to it...

go ahead and run that crap on arm... You can't. Your stuck on windows till your vendor listens to the customers.

sounds like Apple wants to just make phones and ignore all other devices.

They have low waged NSA workers writing code, they knowingly allow and the back door just slipped right in...

non stop drive from Michigan to Texas start at 3 am and get there at 9 pm, still daylight. 1,200 miles and 1 hour of stops to get fuel...
I want to be the "Windmill Cutter" that takes those down with some kind of cutting device and explosives! Like the old guy "Red Adair" was to Oil well fires...
Most $95k cars are gas guzzlers and can do a 1/4 mile in 10 seconds...
exactly!

yep, a new model just for porn sites. I has lots of VR and USB virtual interfaces. New markets and new roads...
