I tried looking in a thesaurus for a couple of the words, but to no avail - none of the synonyms began with P.
Describing the bands was hardest... and about ten seconds after hitting Submit, i noticed Performances was plural, when it should have been "Performance". Couldn't come up with a substitute for "like", that annoyed me.
Bands like Pearl Jam, Phish and P.E., and performers like Prince, have the balls and knowledge to flip off the suits and build long, profitable careers. It seems these days that such things happen despite of, and not because of, the management of the major record labels.
Nice alliteration, but I have a better one:
Performances purveyors Pearl Jam, Phish, P.E., and players like Prince, possess perspicacity, preventing pandering to profiteers, preferring portraying poetry prolifically. Presently, performers procure popularity from performances; pessimistic pilferers perish.

A couple of people have said this, but I can't find anything in the GPL that says the code has to be released to the public. It's only if you distribute binaries that you need to also include the code.
Am I the only one that at first glance read that as:
For the past hundred years or so motorcycle accidents have had an unfortunate potential for particularly horrific injuries, or worse; Improvements in safety gear
I have an legit cart of Sonic the Hedgehog for the Master System, I'm pretty sure it was made after the Megadrive/Genesis version, since there was still a market for the SMS at the time.
When i was about 10 years old, I was given a Wang computer (a 286, it had a Wang keyboard and everything).
I'm not sure if the word wang meant then what it does today, but i used to call it (being 10 years old) the WangComputer. (Say the two words in quick succession, out loud, and let the ten year old inside of you giggle like a shcoolboy.)
Look, if you're going to buy your cpu's from Joe's Discount Suppliers, then at least try and get proper athlons, and not these cheap "athelon" knock-offs. This whole disaster could have been avoided...
You've got to understand that the computers that are sending this crap are generally just some poor schmoe that got trojanned, not the actual culprit. (Sure, you may be doing everyone a favour by blasting them off the net, but you're hurting innocent people).
As someone who's done a fair bit of browsing on a system with 32MB of ram, (this doesn't leave much once windows takes a bite), I can assume that the reason Opera is using that much ram is because you have tons of ram free.
Kinda makes sense, if you have ram, you might as well use it as a cache of pre-rendered pages (or whatever else they use ram for.) Notice how easy it is to press the back button 30 times in IE, then do it in Opera.
I was moderating this comment. And then it went *beep* *beep* *boop*. And my moderation had changed. It was a really good moderation too. It was kindof a............... bummer.
If their friends are online, they can join in to their "music session" and listen to whatever tune is playing at their house.
I wouldn't worry too much - it will probably automatically bill you or your friends for royalties while it's at it.

So yeah - off the cuff, during a break at work.

Originally, a cubit was meant to be the length of your forearm (from the elbow, to the base of the hand).
Searched the web for good.
Results 1 - 10 of about 111,000,000.
Search took 0.07 seconds.
It will be interesting to see if these numbers change if they go public....

You don't seem to be aware, but this whole phenomenon was started on south park, in an episode featuring underpants gnomes. Their plan was this:
Phase 1: Steal Underpants
Phase 2: ???
Phase 3: Profit!
Point being, your second item doesn't belong in the list.

The problem with doing it this way is that search engines are less likely to index your site properly.
What lesson should they have learned?
They are required by law to have these filters.
