    Why not instead set a limit of what you can do (say 80) and always have it 80 (since seeing anything more than 80 is a waste of our eyes).

    I always keep my windows in some eye pleasing posistion..
    Tv on top, irc (2 lines visible + type) on the botton left, konq on the top left (usualy 640X480 web browsing window)
    and anything else on the right

    now if I had triangle windows, I could put them together like lego blocks, inter conecting how I wish.

    It'd be kind of interesting, espically with snapping widgets.

    It'd be even cooler if instead of shading the windows, you turn them into small trianglular (octagonal, etc) and the ymake up the desktop in a pretty anti aliased way. They would just show a tiny bit of what the window represents, and maybe a few words like the application title (on mouse over, etc).

    This would be kind of cool. Great for productivity

    These ideas are coming from a minimalist, I don't use KDE that much.
    I hate taskbars, I love blackbox's cutoff menus, I'm a black box kinda guy.

    Although apparently the official XFB_DEV servers do not support Acceleration (says in linux kernel docs) would it support DRI?

    Even so, what about a Normal XFB_XF86 server?

    you can play consoles games with TV out cards.

    Lots of rage owners with TV out (All in wonders included) will notice the device is almost always in an on state (Tv out device) when the computer is rebooting, and ends just as windows initiates.

    I'd kill to have a 128K upload.
    We stay happy with the 400-500K downloads (site providing).
    Although until DSL came in the region, we had a 10K/as cap upload, when DSL came around we got upped to 40K.

    40K/as = Cable
    10-20K/as = DSL
