  1. I bought it on DRM-Free Game Suffers 90% Piracy, Offers Amnesty · · Score: 1, Interesting

I bought this game after playing the demo. I also bought the soundtrack as well. The reason I did this was to support this publisher and help them keep making great games. Most of the crap coming out of the big game houses is not worth it these days and I would rather keep an independent going then make anyone at EA richer.

  2. Ugh on Utah Considers Warrantless Internet Subpoenas · · Score: 0

makes me glad I am leaving the worthless state. Don't know if the state I am moving to is any better, but it can't be any worse.

If they do secede, I doubt the rest of the US will really care.

  4. Not a big surprise on Utah Assembly Passes Resolution Denying Climate Change · · Score: 0

I live in Utah and this is par for the course. Utah is one of the, if not THE, reddest state in the US. The 'people' who elect these clowns can't see outside of their own state and so don't think anything is wrong.

Makes me glad I am leaving...

That's strange isn't it. I have always been told that Microsoft can step up and do good against competition. And yet according to the graph, they just get their asses handed to them..

    Hmmm..

so after the airlines go out of business (because people don't want to put up with all of the TSA bullsh*t), then what will all of the TSA goons do? Move to INS and take care of the border crossers?

  9. Re:Question for the local folks on RIAA's Elementary School Copyright Curriculum · · Score: 0

Money and lots of it. If you are a school district and short on cash, RIAA showing up with bags full of money and asking you to brainwash^H ^H ^H educate the kids in exchange for the bags is a very good offer. So you do it and hope you can sleep at night.

But then they have drugs that help you sleep real good.

Hatch is an idiot. The bad thing is thanks to the Repubs here in Utah, anyone that runs against Hatch is pretty much doomed. Orrin Hatch is a very good argument for term limits.

I am moving into a new apartment and the only cable thing I am getting is cable internet. The TV will only be used for DVD's and that's it. I can live without the cable TV part since I can find everything I watch online.

  15. I live in that state on Utah Mulls a Database of Bar Customers · · Score: -1

I live in Utah and this is pretty much what it is like. The Legislature is only interested in taking care of 'moral' issues and piss on anything else. Roads don't have enough money? Too bad! Too many kids in school classrooms? Sucks to be you! But if a child sees a beer? Oh My God!!! The world is ending!!!

The landscape here is beautiful, wish I could say the same about the people.

At the company I work at (web hosting), I have full access to customer's servers. I can delete data, reboot the servers, do anything I want. So they trust me enough with customer's data, but not with my own machine...
