  1. This is great new because my N97 SUX on Nokia Leaks Phone With Full GNU/Linux Distribution · · Score: 1

I just "upgraded" my wonderful N95 8GB to a buggy, strange, morphodite N97. I also have the Nokia, N770 and N800 tablets which rock. I know I just blew 700 bux and change on the awful N97, however I will give Nokia this one mistake. I hope the N900 is like the tablet with a phone, and more.

    I'll be 1st in line.

  2. I hope Nasa has the right ISP on NASA Probe Blasts 461 Gigabytes of Moon Data Daily · · Score: 4, Funny

That much data and Comcast would throttle it no matter what the scientists said. If AT&T had it going through their "unlimited" 3G connection, NASA would be hosed and we would be increasing the national debt by trillions.

One last thing, I m wondering if the **AA doesn't want access to the data stream to make sure it isn't a bittorrent containing their precious copyrighted work. After all, we all know there is no legitimate use for that much bandwidth.

A man and his wife are at the zoo, when the man notices a large male gorilla leering at his wife. The man tells his wife, look, that gorilla is really hot for you, show him some skin. Just joking, the wife flashes the gorilla, and it makes the beast bang on the cage, jump up and down and bellow. Just then, the man opens the door to his cage, throws the wife in, and says "now, tell him you have a headache".

  9. Microsoft knows their market. on Bing Users' Click-Through Rate 55% Higher Than Google Users' · · Score: 0, Troll

The people that use Bing are most likely Windows users.

    Who uses Windows?

In my experience there are 3 main groups:

1: Those that have to because of company policy or the need to run a Windows only application.
2: Those that are to cheap to by a MAC
3: Those that are to stupid to use Linux, BSD, Solaris, etc.

Microsoft knows how to push the butons of their drones, and the click through rate just proves this.

You could just ditch the old iPhone and upgrade to a Nokia N97. The Nokia store called me today, and I will be there at 8:00AM tomorrow. The new N97 replaces my N95 8GB which has been wonderful.

Oh, and these are un-locked phones.

I have AT&T as my carrier, and my contract ran out long ago. Even if it did'nt buying a Nokia means upgrading is just switching SIM cards, then downloading a bunch of stuff.

As far as things you can get for the Nokia, remember that Nokia holds a substantial lead in 'smartphone' units over the iPhone, Blackberry, or G1. Last time I checked all of those combined didn't reach the Nokia numbers.
